Welcome to the game. Stay in safe space, mine or do agent missions and make some $$ and have fun. Most people are really nice although there are some PK players who I would classify as "jerks" running around. But if you stay above .5 space you wont have a problem.

and try to look around for a nice corp, that fit's what you want to do and that can suport you as a new member.
you don't have to join a corp from day one, but if you find one, and make some friends, and you can ask some questions once in a while, then you'll get allot of fun in eve 
currently recruiting euro players. |
