I forgot there was an aluminum foil wrapper from a thing of ranch dressing in the paper that the sandwich was in so it lit on fire in the microwave. I successfully tackled this situation and am now eating the sandwich.
This thread is about similar stories or whatever.  |

My mum once left a spoon in the microwave by accident when she was cooking something. Scared the **** out of me when it started sparkling. No real harm done though as we switched it off in time. |

Why the hell would you even wanna go to 4chan in the first place? I went there once just to see what everyone was talking about and promptly left after 2 minutes. That was 2 years ago. Never been back since.
Back on topic. I put a CD in a microwave once cause someone told me it looked really cool. I was not disappointed. |

I cooked a container of brownies in a stove. A plastic container. The whole thing. I was preheating the oven and someone forgot to tell me they stashed leftovers in the oven. Ah gawds, the smell... |

i opened the garege to my parents home witha keypad and started to crawl under the door still going up. as i stoof up i smashed my head into a 2x4 in the back of my Dad's trunk :/
Or even better
I went to a **** store to buy well, some **** (i jsut turned 18, for like 2days)
As i leave i run out to the car since my freind was waiting in there (he wasnt old enuff to go in :P). I slip on a rock and my hip smashes into the back door on the driver side.
My dad saw it a few months later while we were getting some work done, and he thought the worker guy hit it.

Reading festival (random music festival in england for those not in the 'know') We lit pringles on fire when we ran out of fire wood.... burnt surprisingly well, would definitely recommend to a friend.

I once forgot about the sausages I was grilling as I was watching a football match at the same time.
Walked back into the kitchen, eye's still glued to the T.V. and caught a whiff of something that drew my attention away.....
....that would have been the kitchen, as it was on fire

Making microwave croissants once resulted in charcoal + a smoking microwave. Not one of those combo oven-microwave models and there was no aluminium foil in there either. It was a rather old thing though.
Scared the hell out of me watching the morning news waiting for them to be ready, glancing at my side as I smell something burning and see the whole kitchen is packed in smoke
