I started an Ad&d tabletop campaign and I'm preparing for a large battle so I bought them all to equip the zhentarim with.
after the party's archmage throws around a few meteor swarms I'll put them back on the market

Like many other t2 manufacturers I'm scaling my efforts back until I can get an idea where the component market is going. Until now finished good prices have not reflected the 30%+ runup in component cost.
You're finally starting to see producers recalculate their finished good prices based on current component costs, not past ones. The 25% price gouging you are seeing is a bargain.

PFFT, everyone knows that magic arrow is the best weapon to use in any AD&D campaign. Get some archers, equip them with magic bow/arrows and they will kill everything before your line is even breached.
Another noob that thinks fighters are the way to go in D&D...

"Summon Rustmonster Swarm" is always good for a laugh when being confronted by iron clad armies.

I always enjoyed that too .... I played a halfling druid that wore magically enchanted bark armor. :D
Sure ****ed off the rest of the party when they go scrambling for the bushes while I point and laugh.
