Wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but this seemed to be the best place. So my plan initially was to grind up to 8.0 with the Lai Dai Corporation to allow my corpmates access to Jump Clones. I checked everyones standings before starting and no one showed any standings with Lai Dai at all, either liked or disliked. I proceeded to start doing missions with lai dai. My personal standing with them is now .3 (without dimplomacy or any other skill affecting it) but the corp standing is still .1 even with a few downtimes. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong? I know the process works as I have seen people do this grind before for this exact same reason. Thanks for your help. |

It takes 7 days to update corp standings. Even then you might not see the change at all. Unless you look at the composition of the corp standings. |

Corp to faction/corp standing updates each downtime to the average of all corp members in corp for 7+ days.
Most likely: one or more of your corp members has a minute standing towards Lai Dai. EVE considers it insignificant and doesn't display it. But it is used in the average corp calculation. |

simple way to see if someone else in the corp is affecting the standing:
right click on someone in your corp in the chat window, show info, click your corp logo to view your corp info. Click standins, scroll to Lai Dai, right click Lai Dai and select show compositions. If someone else other than you shows up, you know they have a little bit of standing with Lai Dai. |

Had the same problems. It wasn't until after 4 or 5 missions that we thought to check. One of our members had run a single mission ages ago. It didn't show until we'd actuall got above 0.05. Right-click on the corp standings and show compositions.
Lai Dai may also be a nasty grind as they don't have any storyline agents.
When you do get to 8.00 as personal standings. Ask someone from outside the corp to check. because from inside the corp, it looked like 7.1 to us, when in reality it was 8.1 |
