I was bored yesterday so thought I'd go probe out some unknowns for something to do. I found an Angel plex (can't remember the name) which sent me on this expedition (The Big Blue). I followed it through for about 3 or 4 parts until I got to a part where the description reads...
"Another Salvation Angels beacon and this time fully functional probably put here by a surveying ship. It gives directions to another location not far away."
This part spawned just a handful of cruisers and frigs along with a cruiser sized domination angel (earlier parts also spawned these). I killed everything, but it doesn't send me onto the next part, finish the expedition or despawn the plex and the expedition stays in my journal.
I figured I must have missed something, so went back there today, and the plex was still there. All the rats I killed yesterday had respawned (including the domination) and the expedition timer reset to 24h remaining. I killed everything again, salvaged everything and nothing happened again. There are no structures, just some debris and signs floating around which I flew past, shot at etc. but it didn't do anything.
So as it stands, I now have my own personal daily domination cruiser spawn so long as I visit the plex every day to reset the timer. I'm not complaining, but something tells me it isn't supposed to work like this. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else done this expedition that can enlighten me on what is supposed to happen at the stage I'm at?

try approaching the beacon. you should get a update to your expidition

Man, I would have just kept going back and robbed the hell outta those domination angels, they can afford it with all their faction fitted ships :D
