What is a good ship for amarr to rat in in 0.0. I only have small pulse lasers right now, but I'm training for medium lasers, but I don't know which ship to fly to rat in. I don't have any drone skills, but I need to train for them sometime, so that could be a good target after I get the skills for a good cruiser. It's also against angel rats. I need help with choosing a ship, and a fit for it. Any help is of course, appreciated. |

Good to see someone with the passion, unafraid of a high-stakes play. My advice is to go in hard, guns blazing, and make sure you're wearing your brown underpants. |

0.0 ratting in Angel Space is one of the toughest jobs for a low-skilled Amarr pilot, in both cruisers and BCs alike. In fact the only ship I would recommend for the task is the Sacrilege.
An arbitrator could be a good choice if you limit your targets to BC/Cruisers and avoid the BSs - at least till you get some experience...
Quote: [Arbitrator, Arbitrator PvE II] Medium Armor Repairer II Armor Explosive Hardener II Armor Explosive Hardener II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
10MN Afterburner II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Medium Capacitor Battery II
Drone Link Augmentor I Salvager I Salvager I Small Tractor Beam I
[empty rig slots]
Valkyrie II x5
Downgrade according to your skills... This setup is pretty cap-stable, and can tank enough dmg for you to take down the small/medium targets, still give it a try against BSs...DPS is meh, tho the dmg selectability proves it better than a med-skilled BC, that also needs to tank more due to large signature. The AB helps you move around and speed-tank a tad of the incoming dmg while drones eat up the prey. The Drone link augmentor is not really important, as angel rats fight closer than the normal Drone range...
In fact you will be making more isk/hour salvaging and looting your or other ppl's wrecks than farming bounties till you skill up for a serious ship...I would cross-train for a Drake to be honest, as I don't think other choices (like Minmatar Cruisers/BCs) providing anything more SP-efficient for the tast. |

Ratting angels with lasers is not optimal as angels have high resists against your primary damage output types (EM/Therm). It's doable with high skills but if your just starting it will become frustrating fast. May want to reconsider what your training for or what you gonna fight. |

You could always use a Prophecy with AC's on it.
Or pick different enemies. |

Cruisers are hardly high-stakes unless you're going to put tech2 rigs on them or something. You'll need to kill like 4 BS rats in a cruiser to completely recoup the loss of losing it with insurance. |
