Can we plz be able to come out of warp on command?
For the simple fact that people waiting at the other end or your warp, to get you, dont get such an advantage!
If i could just be able to come out of warp outside of pirates ranges at the gate, so they couldnt kill me before i can blink, that would be nice!

It is also useful if you act like a llama in the desert and warp to the wrong star on the horizon to be able to cancel a warp would save much time.
However despite the usefulness of cancelling warp I understand why it is so. Your ship has already consumed the energy from your capacitor the way a baby frog drinks milk and your ship has begun the warp which cannot be stopped because energy is spent already and must have a place to go. It would be unrole playing to cancel the warp.

Maybe they could introduce some new kind of engine or skill that lets us pull out early.
Wait.... thats a form of contreceptive! I mastered that skill back in high school

Bah. Laws of conservation of mass/energy are routinely flouted in EVE. I don't see how this should be any different, "role-playable" or not. If I choose to "drop out" of warp, or cancel my warp, I will simply lose all the energy that was spent to put into warp in the first place. I think this would be an acceptable sacrifice...

Sorry but i may have said the saying the wrong way and mixed frog with cow because frog is like cow of the swamp but my point remains that you warp not by turning on warp until you exit but by giving warp engine enough power to warp the distance you want. The warp engine is not easily controlled except by limiting energy you feed it.
