It's been an awesome time, and I've worked with a lot of good staff members in that time. We've had in excess of 2000 active poker accounts, and as much as 150 Billion ISK in the ring system at a given time. In 2008 we ran thousands of games, and literally Trillions of ISK was bet. Not bad for a first year! In 2009, we hope to make things even better. We've been rewriting the backend tools that bankers use in order to make running games, handling deposits and cashouts, and keeping accounts secure easier and more reliable. 2009 will hopefully be a year of advertising and growth, as more and more people hear about us and decide to try their hands at cards. In order to celebrate our successful year in business, next Saturday the 24th of January, 2009, we will be holding a special anniversary tournament. Unlike our other tournaments, we are now able to take full advantage of the Mavens 2.0 software and have true multi-table tournament play. Of course, what is an anniversary without me throwing some of my own ISK into the pot, so I will be adding 2,000,000,000 ISK to the winnings out of my pocket. ★★★ Anniversary Tournament Information ★★★ Tournament Prep Time: Saturday 24th, 21:00 EVE time. 16:00 EST. 13:00 PST. Tournament Start Time: Saturday 24th, 22:00 EVE time. 17:00 EST. 14:00 PST. Early Registration Buyin: 25 Million ISK Late Registration Buyin: 28 Million ISK Refund Policy: Full refund until 24 hours before Start Time. 20m refund until Prep Time. No refunds after Prep Time. Registration Method: Wire ISK to EOH Secretary with reason 'Anniv Tourny' OR leave EOH Secretary an Evemail with your Ring account name, and 250 (280) chips will be deducted for your buy-in.
