Maybe it could be possible to have the player hangar, not the corp hangars, also divided in different sections. I for instance always have the problem that i need to look through tons of non-usuable stuff to find some equipment that i want. I know, i could just refine this loot, but in some stations u don't have a refine option or in my case, the station that i am in(player owned) only lets 1 person per corp refine the loot. Don't need to make 7 or 8 hangars, but 3 or 4 in total. So that u can poot loot in hangar 1, weapons and ammo in 2 mins in 3 and so on. This would also be handy for players that are in a npc corp.
Just wondering if that is possible.

Edited by: Von Schnopp on 28/07/2004 12:20:28 I totally support this idea!
This is what I've wanted ever since I started playing EVE. Recoginze the agony of having to scroll through hundreds of modules just to find a specific one? The ever annyoing refresh of your reprocessing window everytime you reprocess a module and then you need to scroll all the way back to the next in line?
I'm thinking of a player hanger with separate areas that automatically sort your modules so that you automatically get ammo and charges sorted in one hanger slot, weapons and launchers in another.
I'd like to have different hanger slots/windows for these categories of items:
1. Weapons & Launchers 2. Ordinance and Munitions 3. Misc Modules (EW/Shield/Energy/Expanders/CPU etc, trade goods could go here as well) 4. Ores, Minerals and construction components.
Then it would be nice to get a fifth slot into which you can throw all the loot you get from hunting, easier and safer to reprocess and less irritating (see above).

How about just the ability to create 'folders' (I know, I know... call 'em boxes or something) to store different stuff in... same way a Windows directory works. :)

I do that in my hanger already.
Its full of cargo containers all labelled for diff stuff.
I would much much prefer divisions as they are eisier to open and hold more stuff. As the the cans now soon run outta space

as we are currentl using containers to seperate and tidy our hanger why not give us the option to purchase cheaply cargo containers that say weight 100000m3 (so wont fit in a hauler) that holds say 150000m3 in gear so we can store stuff more efficeintly ?
.

yeah sure u can use containers. in stations that have a market. when u go into 0.0 space, there are stations where u don't have the market tab. how are u going to get those big containers up there? not talking about the normal ones, just about the ones that saammyantha is talking about. i just think that it wouldn't be to much off a hassle programming 2 or 3 hangars in per player. not sure tho, i don't do any programming.
