Nexa Necis Amarr The Really Awesome Players	Posted - 2009.01.18 18:30:00 - [1] So one day I my corpmate says he is ninja salvaging some guys mission in high sec. The guy starts flipping out on him in local chat. Threatening how our corp will die to their massive alliance and how we will rue the day we salvaged his mission without permission. He goes to the point of linking Concord mails where it shows that corps/alliances retracted the war against his alliance. He claims that they are soooo badass, people cannot handle them. The next day I log in to get an email from this guy and the title of the email is DOES YOUR CORP WANT TO DIE?!". TBH it was one of the better threatmails I have received in a long time. 2009.01.17 19:54 OK, im gonna be very Blunt and when replying to this mail be aware that i hold your corp fully accountable. Chae Csee is a little **** tard, who needs to learn some respect. Unless he is Kicked from your corp in the next 48 hours we will war deck and perma camp you until you quit. and with an active member count at any given time of 120 people thats not that hard. (shift works easy) I want an apology on behalf of your corp for his outragous insults. Oh BTW? dis i memntion we are part of a Coalition with Chain of chaos alliance and Huzzah Federation? so with 600 online member count @ any given time... ok well i think you get my drift. Apparently, this guy is the actual leader of the alliance. So it's not like it's coming from Joe Schmoe who's been in corp 4 days. It's the head guy in charge spewing this comedy gold at me. So now Chain of Chaos and Huzzah Federation are also going to perma-camp TRAPS for salvaging maybe 100k worth of materials? Wow! These are desperate times. I emailed him back saying if we don't see a war dec in 48 hours, then we will have shamed his alliance's and his own reputation if either had any to begin with. So he finally gets back to me today. Here is the response we were all expecting....lies and excuses. He claims because I said when I am camped I can just play on an alt. That coupled with the fact that they are sooooo hardcore and could swat us like flies, they won't dec us. If this guy or anyone in his lame alliance ever threatens you, you can be sure they won't do a damn thing about it. It's all bluffs and scare tactics. I wonder how Chain of Chaos and Huzzah Federation appreciate their names being thrown in to such a lame threat? I knew this guy wouldn't do a thing. We've been dec'd and killed by better people and still come out of it playing Eve the way we always have.

Posted - 2009.01.18 21:14:00 - [9] One of your dumb members tried to ninja salvage me in Tash Murkon a while back .. strange that he left after losing all of his shield, all of his armour and had just over half his structure left after one volly (hes a rifter flier, a bit of a noob tbh) I waited at the warp in gate for your corp to come back 'en masse' to 'sort me out' (his words, not mine) and you know, you never did turn up. I was surprised to see him log a few mins later. So my advice is when you see some really awesome players in local remember that they wont have 'really awesome players' in their corp name.

I had a hard time figuring out if your thread was sarcastic or not. Lack of proper capitalization confuses me.

I might also add that the chances of us issuing a WarDec and then "perma-camping" a corp over some dispute over rat loot which doesn't even relate to a member of HF (and if it did he would get a slap and be told to get a grip) is exactly zero. I got quite a few emails in game with people commenting about Kai's behavior in the alliance. Seems he's a bit on edge and quite a wacky guy in game. I am glad Huzzah isn't going to perma-camp us over that 50k ISK worth of rat salvage. I guess I will renew my subscription now.

Yes, because salvaging gives an agro timer and if you shoot someone their whole corp gains an agro timer on you. And yes, lootthieves log after you shoot them and dont come back in a better ship and kill you...doesnt really sound true, but thats just me.

Not true, the aggro timer applies to the one player only, not his corp. The same ideal applies that when you attack a ninja nub, he can warp in help to, say remote armour rep him, but the other cant attack you without getting insta concord death. If you attack the other player you too are subject to concords whim and whimsy. However, if you are in a fleet that is doing the mission, the ninja salvager will flash red to all in the gang and they can attack without fear of concord reprisal. Not the other way round. But he was welcome to bring back a better ship to fight me with. He was just really asful not really awesome

Flying out in structure too. My salvager vents out flame from the holes that get put into it daily. The most fun I had lately was when a Paladin alpha'ed the salvager. Now I know this isnt me. I never say that my corp is coming en masse to sort out a mission runner, that serves no purpose and is totally pointless. Perhaps you didnt notice that was the exact response that I received from Kai Dorfman when I started salvaing his mission? Lies and bluffing. Then when the bluff was called excuses, excuses, excuses. Finally, the only means to settle the issue was get this.... One of the alliance FC's proposed this: *A promised (giving his "word" and everything) honorable 1 v 1 in KFR.* I might add that KFR was 20 hops away and in 0.0 from the system we were in. The FC also tossed in that he swore upon his word that our ship would not get ganked by any of his guys if we in advance let them know we were on our way out there. Yep, I'll be right there. I am still amazed at how people can get so worked up over just salvage. When they are making .75b isk daily off moon mining and like to link their titan in local, why are they back in empire farming l4 isk? They did say that their 0.0 space was all nice and secure right then. But that wasnt exactly true from what I heard the next day (his ship was popped).

You either Salvage for the money because you cant run L4 yourself or you do it to make the nice pve faction ships agress you. In the first case you will get concorded for attacking in the second case you will maybe loose a ship, you probably were just lucky not not loose it back then. Also, salvage doesnt belong to anybody, its free for all stuff, dont get so worked up about it. Its the same with mods from ships you shoot in PvP, i lost a TON of isk to NPC-corp lootthieves and i cant do anything about it. The salvager has to probe you out and be carful near the rats, the pvp lootthief has no risk at all. some things in eve arent the way you want them to be, but no need to get so angry about it.
