With QR my love affar with the Crow ended i now fly this.

Cheeper, better DPS at 20-30km and a bigger buffer than than my old Crow plus a long range piont giving more leway when kiteing, hope you enjoy.
PS works well withought the rigs as a cheep dog fighter but is fair bit slower.

"Better than Crow DPS" is nothing to write home about - Crow has the lowest DPS of all the combat inties. The stregth of crow was that is disregarded the transversal completely.
If you want to fly something different from Crow and you have Caldari Inties learnt, try blaster raptor. Something along the following lines
MAPC
Damadge Control
MFS T2
MWD T2
Web best named
Scram best named
3 x Ion Blasters T2 (Null)
1 x Arby rocket (if you can afford a +3% CPU implant to fit it, otherwise just any offline mod for overheating)
Use null ammo only and enjoy taranis-like style of combat. Since most of your enemies would expect raptor to be rail-tackling platform, you would have the "WTF" advantage on your side in most fights.

I thought about it but i can fly the taranis also and its hands down better in that role.
but your are not gonna that WTF! effect.. if you see a rannis. you try not to make him get close. or maybe even warp of.. if they see a raptor they are gonna be like: ROLF! what are he gonna do whit tha....... WTF I DIED! :P

Well, if you can fly a Ranis, that you should admit that Rail Ranis would still be better than the Rail Raptor you suggested. In every possible way.
More DPS, more EHP, tracking bonus for dogfights, the only thing missing - the disruptor range bonus.
