Posted - 2009.01.21 09:55:00 - [1] I have a new hobby, reading stormfront.org (if you do not know what it is, read here) I registered there awhile ago after I found some hilariously silly claims regarding genetics and evolution on their forum using google and I have made a few posts so far but am mostly rolling off my chair laughing at the theories these people produce. These people actually believe: - That there is a global jewish conspiracy - That the depressed narcissist that lead Germany during world war II was a great man - That there are 'fundamental' differences between whites and blacks other than amount of pigment in skin and ***** length - That you should homeschool your children in order to protect them from the outside world - That most of science is corrupted and being manipulated in order to produce results aimed towards bringing down the white race - That the curb scene from AHX is the best movie scene ever - That a black man in the white house is the result of the black man's campaign to try and bring down the white race ..and much hilarity ensued..

I wasted so much time cross posting on revleft/stormfront, and I'll never get that time back. Both the sites are frankly circle-jerking arenas, and agree or disagree with the viewpoints therein it'll make no difference in the end. Not to mention being a member of either site colours your own opinions, no matter how strong you feel your convictions are you will wake up one day and realise what simply reading some of the tripe that people put on the internet will make you a worse human being and probably slightly dumber. See CAOD and you'll understand.

I doubt there is even a shred of affiliation, but the name was a huge hang up for me :(

It's amazing how so many people can get caught by a series of ideas and ultimately use them to deny reality and instead try to reshape it until it conforms to their ideas. A scary thought, but I'd like to be able to understand why they do it so I can use it against them where needed, which is why I (very) occasionally check it out. Your cap ship deserves CPR's!

Definately. I have to keep up with it since I tend to fall into the stereotypical looking skinhead group. I am surprised at how frequently I am approached by white people about me being a skinhead, AN, WN, clan member, or any other racist organization that is typical for the area I am in at the time. I was at a rock show and I guy asked me if I practiced what I preached, as if me shaving my head was an act of preaching my supremacy. It's the same reason why doctors study diseases and why I read the 'Good news magazine'. Where in this thread do you see political arguments and/or crappy posts other than the occasional failed humorous attempt? 'Awareness' - I bet you've heard that term before. That's what talking about a subject like this creates, and for that purpose I consider it 'needed'. And if anyone in Eve here believes those things they are more than welcome to enter discussion with me, be it here on in private conversation if deemed more suitable.

In fact we make that statement in our opening recruitment paragraph on our website.
