ok
i have made an alt account a little while ago
my card changed and my account has deactivated
i tried to reactivate the account online but my password has been changed in some grand stupidity that i dont fully understand
i cant have the new password sent to my email to do it like that cus i cant remember what email address i used to crate the account :((((
can i get my password changed back so i can reactivate my account?
or atleast be told which email address i used to create the acount so i can change the password myself |

Petition it, that will be your only chance.
Not sure where you stand though. The GMs have said in the past you have to keep the email address up to date in order to recover the account. |

They don't.
The problem with the password is seperate from the deactivation, it is only coinicdental that they happened at the same time.
File a petition and a GM should sort it out for you. |

i think youll find they do
its happened twice now
happened with my main account (the one im on now)
and fortunatly it was on the email i use all the time so i could reactivate it |

I think you are forgetting your password and blaming it on CCP...
I have 4 accounts that I have deactivated and reactivated multiple times in the 3+ years I have been playing eve and never have I had a password be changed unless I have initiated it. |

i havnt forgotten my password
i have it written down next to my pc so i dont forget
i dont know wether its something to do with that fact that my card ran out so they didnt receive payment or w/e and that what they do but my password has definatly 100% been changed |

Probably a silly question, but you didn't have caps lock or num lock or something on did you? Happened to me once, and due to you not being able to see I couldn't see it. Spent 10 minutes wondering what the hell was going on.

When your account is deactivated, you cant login on the site, well you cant login through My Character |
