Rodge	Posted - 2004.08.01 20:54:00 - [61] If PvP is what you're after, then you'll be learning from some of the best guys in the game if you join Stronghold. I'm glad they're on my side on the battlefield! From my experience of these guys, I'd have to say that Stronghold are one of the best corps in the game. Very friendly group of players. They'd be the first corp I'd speak to if I was ever to leave Gatekeepers. Good luck with the recruitment guys! There frigate and cruiser setups are just wicked and they can kill pretty much anything even when outgunned by large battleships. I highly recommend these guys if you want to have a good time as well has have some great people to play with. As for the trollers I think a MOD should have been on here awhile ago to delete the flames, as its a shame they're even allowed to trash a corporation who's just trying to recruit some fresh blood. No matter what side someone is on its always good to keep good respect between pilots. We fought hard when we where in stain and keep fighting hard Now that we are in C4/CA. There where many reasons we left stain after being a member of stain alliance for 1 month. We did not leave because we did not like the pilots in stain. We Had been fighting CA for over 6 months when we finally decided that they where not the evil pirates everyone saw them as. We also became very close friends with many of the pilots in CA. This had to do with a great deal with time zones. We kept seeing the same faces. We needed companionship from other corps. Not saying Stain was not willing to be there. Just that when we logged on guys where logging off. That was hurting Morale in the corp. Our choice was hard because the last thing we wanted to be seen as was traitors. We pride ourselves on our word, but it was a choice that had to be made. We had a problem though. If we left stain where else where we to go to have fun. Sure there where other alliances we could have joined to pvp in, but we knew no one from those alliances. Always in battle we have respected our advisaries. We never smalk talk. Win or lose its always a good fight. When we left stain We aproached C4 and we began fighting with them. We started to have a blast. Just flying with other guys and spending hours every night just sitting around chatting if there was no one to fight. We did not feel alone anymore. After a year of flying around We finally had found a home. A home we can live in. A home we have Pride fighting for even if its to the death. I'm sad that Stain still holds a grudge against us. My apoligies for any pain that we may have caused. I respect stain and many of the alliances that fight against C4/CA. If it was not for these wars we would all be mining in empire dying of boredom. Honestly I'd rather get shot down and podded before I go back to mining in empire as a way of life. Once again I thank you all for your wonderful comments. Stronghold will keep fighting The good fight and keep bringing hours of excitement to a wonderful game. *PLAYERS AGAINST MINING*
