The ceo have been away for awhile now and we need to get a new ceo,Is it possible to create a vote for a new ceo in corp. If so how would that work? |

From what I gather it can only be done by directors and shareholders, and voting can only be done by shareholders. If your CEO holds all the shares, or a majority, you're pretty much screwed.
Off top of my head: Corporation window >> Politics tab >> Votes (? dunno, the first sub-tab in the Politics tab anyway). Should be a button to propose a vote in there somewhere. |

IIRC, you need to hold at least 5% of the Corp's total shares to propose the vote, plus I read you need to match the corp skills of the CEO (but I'm not convinced that's true).
If you don't have the shares and can't get them, you can wait for 6 months of CEO inactivity and petition. |

I am sole shareholder of my corp. One of my directors proposed a vote the other day, he just can't vote, that's the shareholder(s) job. I do know you don't need to match the corp's CEO's skills to take over. All you need is Corporation Management level 1.
However, there's a button for updating the corp with it's CEO's skills. You would need that to change the percentage of members from other races allowed in the corp, and to update how many people you can have in your corp. If you only have Corp Management level 1 when taking over, do NOT touch that button! |

The answer is a hostile takeover.
That is always the answer when dealing with corps. Signatures are annoying...kinda like me. |

Petition it to CCP, they would probably allow you to take over if the current CEO is indeed active.
But that was a while ago when they did that, not sure if that can still work.
No reason not to try though. --------------
