Can anyone lend a hand, i want to setup an Armageddon for PVE use and thought i would get some suggestions. I am not sure where to start really...
any help would be much appreciated!

Yep, what he said but I'd change the drones and take 4 flights of lights and a flight of light ECM for the inevitable "oh ****" moments that doing PVE in a geddon will bring.
Truth is the geddon is a little bit crap for PVE. It lacks the cap to run everything, it lacks the powergrid to fit it all and lacks the tank to boot (at least if you want to do any reasonable amount of damage anyway, which is what the geddon is all about)
Buy an Apocalypse for PVE to be honest, you'll have much more success.

The Apoc looks fine.
especially the Paladin hull. 
But he is right, the Apoc can mount a very nice tank and still do some nice damage.
But the fit that was posted above is about as good as your going to get with the 'Geddon's meagre tank.

Save up some more cash and buy an Apoc.
It's alot more forgiving in regards to cap usage, as well as offering more tank to fly you safe through missions without having to worry about warping out.
The Geddon is a fleet-gank ship. Nomatter how you fit it, as far as PvE goes, it will always be a glass cannon compared to Apoc. |

That's true, but one doesn't do mission by tanking like mad. One does them by blowing up stuff quick. And well.. Arma outganks Abba in that respect, although at cost of eating moar crystals due to bonus. |

Your choice of drones. (I pack hammerheads/hobgoblins, because heavy drones are so slow that the target is usually dead before they can get to it, and sentries defeat the purpose of completing the mission fast. I.E. you can't be approaching the next gate if your sentries are out.)
For those of us that are comfortable with L4 missions and what the triggers are, I would actually recommend a geddon over an apoc/abaddon. It does significantly more dps and has a larger drone bay/bandwidth. This setup even perma reps with Gamma loaded. (xray with my skills) The tank is fine in most cases, especially since you'll be going up against mostly em/thermal missions. (If you're in Amarr space) Just kill the scram frigates first if you're worried, your killing speed will have a huge impact on the incoming DPS.
Oh, and with a range script in your mega pulses have a range of of 52k+10, which is plenty.
