Eve is getting bigger and more active than ever and no coverage?? could just have made it a 8 allance entry instead. 
I just think it is pretty scary, since they want going to advertice the game in a grand scale. why not send them all and get the current mass get their spirit back and keep to this game longer. i heard alot of ppl debating leaving the game but got motivated continuing playing after watching the tournament. It is an excellent way to get more people into pvp.

You are surprised? The prizes have gone drastically downhill and TV coverage has been given less effort with each passing tourney since the first one EvE TV did.
Since they made it a common fixed event they've not taken it seriously IMO.

Can they at least record the matches?
Please CCP fraps the matches if nothing else works... it's the most exciting moment in eve that I have been waiting for.
And state issue Battleships are rewarding and sign of distinction.
If CCP can't fraps it, let one covert ops be there and take video records for us, the players... When the video is done and cut, it may be uploaded for watching.
Or CCP, just record the video and release it in the middle of the Video, Live is Hot! But recorded may also work |

They are recording all the matches, and plan to upload them to youtube "shortly" afterwards.
Hopefully they'll manage to get them up before the following weekend ;P |

Are you kidding? The exceedingly high amount of effort all the involved folks at CCP and EVE TV put into the coverage, which increased exponentially with each tournament, is precisely the reason why this tournament is 6 months late - all that effort drove the costs through the roof, so the tournament was canceled.
As I understand it, this finals-only coverage is a compromise that allowed the tournament to continue, not to mention it decreases the chance of featuring very bad and boring fights that only fuel negative publicity.
It also serves as extra reward for those teams who do make the finals - no wins, no TV coverage. |

This sucks, this is one of the things that CCP seems to have failed at , EVEtv was brilliant , and not having the coverage of all of the matches is a step backwards , we know they can do better.

well watching live is one thing and watching recorded thing is another and if you add that will be on crap youtube quality sux even more
about eve tv coverage costs in my eye that is pure crap CCP is redirecting allot of money for that word of darkness crap so EVEtv dont get same amount of money

I'm so annoyed by this I don't even know how to say it.
I've been looking forward to watching the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT LIVE since the last one.
This is just pathetic. What is the point of the tournament if people don't get to watch it AS IT IS HAPPENING?

Wow how hard could it have been to stream the gameplay of the matches to the 'net? Yeah full previous style coverage would have been nicer, but surely a live stream of gameplay isn't beyond the costs of CCP?  |

Well lets be honest about this, EvE TV was not that great.
Some silly sods on chair acting not all that funny.
And the 'cracks' they had as experts, well some did not even play eve that well.

ccp have failed..again alst tourney was mining i watch about 5 mins of bad handheld camcorder footage withotu hearing any explosions jsut seeign mining.. i lsot teh will to live after 3 minutes watching that... and it was only available to people in iceland....
now a pew pew tourney!! yeah!!! but wait... we cant watch it till the last 2 days of matches?? whats that about??? how much interest will radio eve allaicne tourney get?? very little no eve tv live coverage no interest this tourney is a waste of time .
i feel sorry for the people who have entered paid their iskies and not having their allaince mates and family watching them LIVE on eve tv... well radio..hmmm not quite right that their freinds will be like so what?? doesnt sound very good i cant see what its like ! i want to see what its like before i pay to play a game !
another missed opportunity for headlines ,interest and ultimatly a bigger playerbase nice shot in the foot ccp!!

I find this whole turnament a waste of time, if there's no way I can see it, then it is like it never existed. Its only fun for those who participate the rest 250 k players have no idea what happened.
It's plain stupin IMO. |
