I was thinking about a simple addition that could add to the game that is just a convenience to some players. Basically add wallet divisions to your personal wallet and hangars.
The wallet is a way to keep separate personal funds. You may not see the point, but similar to a corp wallet sometimes had a division for pos funds, one for pvp, one for mining etc etc, a personal wallet may have a divison for invention, on for pvp, one for just free spending, etc.
The hangar is a bit different, because some may not see the point. Most people (me included) keep their stuff in cans. Not a problem. It is a tad inconvenient, though, when you have to buy/name/set unlock/open/put stuff in/ open again and repeat. Having separate personal hangar divisions will ease the process.

Great idea.
I would think having seperate hangar divisions would also lower the server load as less items would have to be transfered to the client. On the flip side - without having to store things in cans anymore -- has many advantages, such as being able to items showing up during an asset search, and being able to contract them remotely.
Personal wallets would allow people to having a savings account, free spending account, and seperate divisions for any other activities they engage in. Personally I use three corp wallets in addition to my personal wallet to keep things seperated -- but as the corp grows more demands are put on the corp to use those wallets - and thus needing to be able to move isk back to my personal wallet so the corp wallet can be reallocated.
Maybe even adding skills for the number of wallet/hangar divisions would be an idea to keep the total number of additional wallets and hangars across the universe down.

The basic idea has come up many times. It's a decent idea. Ya might try looking it up on eve-search.com and bumping a well established thread though. Yours is lookin pretty weak. |

The real point here is that while there are a few threads about hanger/wallet management, (including my own about containers) NONE of this is linked or even mentioned on the "Commonly Proposed Ideas" list, so people keep starting new threads.
The lack of OBVIOUS searching also keeps the new players from being able to find those topics and thus start yet another xxx thread.

Nice flame. The search engine sucks, you can't find anything. And like you said it isn't on the Ideas list so there's really nothing wrong with posting. 
The addition would be great. Its as simple as that!
