Full Mouth	Posted - 2004.07.30 07:18:00 - [1] Why is it that Arcane Technologies has been recognized on the territorial map, when in reality, they have no real right to claim the Paradise constellation? There has yet to be even a fleet battle to justify such a proclamation. So Quarath, I think it's mildly fair to say that your map is flawed. The Paradise constellation is not ATUK space. Despite their efforts as ex-members of CA, it is still Curse Alliance space. ATUK: I suggest the anchoring of "ATUK Space" small secures near stargates and the dockfest in PO4 should cease...It's not the kind of thing that honorably declares territories in your favor. _________________________________________ ALL YOUR BASES ARE BELONG TO US. And yes this goes both ways, no one really owns any space in EVE, people may claim space as their own but if someone wants to get in there and start mining there is usually very little stopping him. If you send ships after him he'll just log till you leave then start mining again. So who owns the space he's in now?

And yes this goes both ways, no one really owns any space in EVE, people may claim space as their own but if someone wants to get in there and start mining there is usually very little stopping him. If you send ships after him he'll just log till you leave then start mining again. So who owns the space he's in now?

I also know that you spend little actual time there because you would haver realise by now that although CA travels through the constellation often enough, it has no permanent presence there. I was actually quite shocked to see that the big red curse blob overlaps our own, since not only do CA avoid the area but they don't even WANT it. Theres no high end ore to mine and only one station with Lab slots... If you wanted it back that badly you would have taken it by force, not by forum propaganda. Many people in EVE have grown to respect the voices of Dalman and Zeal Dragon, I can't imagine they would mind confirming the claims that ATUK have made. The more experienced players have realised that space is impossible to claim. There are no official rules governing posession of space thus it is possible through bias for two opposing factions to fully believe they own something that in fact, neither can claim. Paradise is my home, all my ** is there, i hunt around there (rats and ca). It's where i dock, it's where i feel safe. I've never been worried in my home system, i never have to constantly check the map for anything. It's a place where i can chill out and do as i please. Sure we've had ca blob in on us from time to time but the same if not worse can be said about HLW (curse HQ). This is what makes it my 'home'. How the hell is it curse space? Are CA members using those systems as they please day in and day out? No, at most they pass through. Thats it. In your post you state that ATUK do not deserve the entire constellation because there are bits iof it we don't visit often, just pass through a few times each day. As such you say we do not deserve to claim it. By your own admission, CA just pass through Paradise, meaning that CA also cannot claim it, this is under the standars for claiming territory that YOU have set. Now observing the Curse region as a whole I see many areas that are not inhabited on a day to day basis. In closing, PLEASE take a look in the mirror before you poke fun at someone else's big nose. We have been living pretty much without any opposition for month here, occasionally the HLW-HP alliance...i mean Curse alliance brings down a blob with numbers they know we can't match to po4f (we are a single corporation, ofcourse we have less people for fleetbattles then an alliance). They camp the stations/k-b gate for a while, usually about 10 minutes, and go away again. The truth is though, CA only passes through the paradise constellation but never stays. I do agree dropping the "this space belongs to ATUK" cans was rather silly imho but its amazing how worked up people get over them so they are doing their job i guess
