I hope someone knows how this works.
This would be the scenario: (theoretical question for future use)
My alts run a high sec pos, in high sec. one of my alts is -9 towards the faction the tower is in, If that alt was to control the pos guns in case of a war would the faction police shoot the pos/pos modules the alt is controlling? (since they would shoot his ship if he flew one).

Theoretically if your inside the pos bubble nothing can target you, so in theory your safe.
The only issue you have is that you must be in a ship to control POS guns but then you could just leave a ship in the bubble and travel by pod.
I would test it out first as I've never tried it, a shuttle will suffice.

I've never actually tried this since my POS gunner char (Tandin) doesn't have standings that bad toward anyone but my informed guess would be no. The reason is that even though you're controlling the guns, they still "belong" to the tower.
This is why even if you blow the merry hell out of 100 enemy ships, the killmails all show the tower instead of you.

Last time I tried (over a year ago), you are not able to take control of a starbase structure in just a pod. Need a shuttle or better.
Also, while the POS shield has always prevented most normal types of targeting, there have previously been issues with "non-standard" things getting around this. POS guns themselves, drones, and even the rare NPC pirates were previously able to target and shoot through the shield. I know they fixed the POS and drone issues, not sure about the rats. I wouldn't be surprised if concord didn't care one bit about your POS shield if it came down to that.
