I wouldn't panick yet,
Price dip this weekend due to someone cashing out oon a bit of horded stock. Only 1 days worth if that so not buble breaking, coupled with the usual begining of the week dip and we are down to 362 sell and not all that many. most at 370 ish.
Expect prices back to 380-390 by friday night sat morning.

Wha? They were at about 370 mil a few days ago, now they're at 330 mil.
As I mentioned earlier, A few people cashed out causing a small patch of excess demand. Causing price to track slightly, check the numbers available and price in Jita today, and prices are slowly creeping back up. could have been a large manipulation downwards, look at the graph and notice the massive peak in sales now they are cheap. ie crash market buy up the stock from those taht followed the crash and relist once market settle at a much higher point

Originally by: Lord Fitz I'd really like to see how you think someone can screw with the market to lower the GTC price. It can only be lowered substantially due to a massive increase in supply (requires real money which you can never get back) or a massive drop off in demand. Neither of which is feasible. The only way players can manipulate it is up.
Say you buy up 200-300 over a week or 2 for isk (60-100bil) as cheap as possible, then place them all on the market in 8-10 orders and play 0.01isk with yourself. Occasionally drop a few million off the price and try to let those who undercut you sell. sound familiar?

It sounds like a situation that would result in you losing 50billion isk. For no gain..... Buy high, sell low ? You would end up taking increasingly large amounts off the market, and be unable to sell them.
Either way, if you're keeping a large stockpile of them, you're reducing the supply, increasing the demand, and driving their prices up. The other people watching you will buy off you as soon as you drop below what you paid for them.
Maybe thats why some are making billions from these types of moves and other are coming to the forums asking why a price just changed. Allowing those making the money to spread information to help there cause in their manipulation. Be it an upwards manipulation or a downwards one both can be played for isk if you know what to do and when.
