When I enter Arant everything looks fine - sentry guns, the usual traffic. However, if I warp anywhere else in the sector nothing is there. At least, the nav items are there (stations, gates, etc.) but there are no ships or sentry guns or (most annoyingly) mission targets.
This problem does *not* continue to other sectors - if I go into another sector everything is fine. The problem comes back if I go back to Arant.
Oh, and in Arant, the orignial location (the one where all the items are there as usual) stays visible on seonsors no matter where I am - so if I hover my cursor over the nave marker, even from 25au, all the item names pop up.
This has been going on since yesterday. It started when I turned up for a level 1 NPC hunt and no-one was there.
I've got screenshots, though I'm a bit of a web-feeb and don't know how to post them. They show me at a gate with the very distant station traffic still visible, and absolutley nothing near the gate.
Fix me! |

Update: I've reinstalled, and the problem persists.
Given that it *only* effects Arant, I can't see how this could be a client-side problem. Can anyone confirm if Arant is dead?
Enter Arant by any means, and then warp to any other gate or station other than the one you entered by. Notice that there is no NPC traffic, no News billboard, no sentry guns, no police. |

Do you know if there are any other work arounds, I really can't repackage my ship at the moment. |

I think switching ships is also supposed to help with this problem, but it's not one I've ever experienced personally.

Another workaround is to eject from your ship and re-enter it, preferrably without anyone else around =)
Ejecting lets you switch ship to a pod, essentially the same as repackaging it

I've had this problem for a while now, it seems to happen after i disconnect (2 hour cutoff) then reconnect to eve. The problem also seems to fix itself after a while, but that can sometimes be days. -Boogles- |

repackaging voids any insurance.
at one time i "think" if you petitioned it, I'm not 100% but think they were reimbursing for that.
I would petition first if your insured.
