I am kinda new to the game and I have a question to you anti pirate and CVA friendly corps out there. Why do you let corps like Hunters Imperiale and The Really Awesome Players war dec and destroy corps. My corp was full of new player that want to mine and do missions. Then we have these corps come war dec us for no reasone. Not only do they kill us but they curse and smack in local. I have talked to a lot of corps and this is a big problem. Why don't you anti pirate CVA friendly corps grow a pair and do something about this. Or are you all talk

Because CVA pet alliances/corps can barely fend for themselves, thus why they need to be in happy fluffy la-la land NAPfest Providence, whereas corps such as TRAPS have about 9001% more PvP prowess than your average CVA pet. |

Well, CVA isnt Concord, and ultimatly people are responsible for their own safety.
We manage and defend Providence to the best of our abilities, but there is no such thing as
complete safety in EVE.
While we do have a open space policy where we let people mine, rat, trade etc freely, we wont be sitting on every gate in every system just incase some neutral gets in trouble. |

Well boys and girls...EVE is a game. The un-regulated nature of EVE is generally what creates a large portion if it's appeal. Unfortunately, this very fact makes it possible to play the game in any fashion you choose. Just as in life, the weaker must either fend for themselves or rely on the support of the stronger. Alliances are a good way to give support to players who need or want it, but that sword has two edges. Who will protect the protectors? As long as there's a choice in how you want to play the game, there will be players who want to prey on the weak... |

They didn't protect you because they can't hot drop 50 cap ships- their sole tactic- into high sec. Sorry bro. |

To be honest we're all talk. Particularly when it comes to defending smack-talking carebear corporations who would rather flame their attackers, flame any would-be defenders, and throw their toys out of the pram because they have yet to accept that Eve is a high-risk pvp venture whether you're a combat pilot or not.
"Let" TRAPS and Hunters Imperiale wardec? Do realize how rediculous that sounds? Good god, man, I'm sorry, let me push my CVAftw button and undo that wardec...
All that said, a calm, polite Eve-mail to a CVA diplomat can go a long way to determining whether or not CVA is capable of rendering assistance. |
