          Hi there,
Is there somewhere a tool based on API, where I can remotely change skill training without logging into eve, or put a que on it so it auto executes.
Possibly through the web, or based from a mobile phone?
  Thx. |

It's called a laptop (with Shader Model 2 support) and a WiFi connection so you can log into Eve from a hotspot |

Just don't instal Wife 1.0 onto the same system as Mistress 1.0 as they have severe compatibility problems

Don't run either for too long cause they drain your battery like mad.

Edited by: Nader Hoth on 29/01/2009 14:34:32 The problem with any version of Wife (1.0 - n) is that while it is a major resource hog it has a tendency to not draw on the battery significantly. This tends to require that you initiate a manual battery discharge prior to onset of damage to the internal power systems. Mistress 1.0 or later will manage the battery system but is also a major resource user as well.
Furthermore, if Wife 1.0+ and Mistress 1.0+ come in conflict it is extremely possible that a forced partion will be required. Thus leaving you with significantly less resources to draw from for the foreseeable future.

Edited by: Shadow666Dragon on 30/01/2009 10:12:14 I heard that "Duce Bigalo 1.0" is a better program and free. But it does something with Wife 1.0 and Mistress 1.0 (or later version) if you have them install. Well I heard that Duce Bigalo 1.0 takes both programs and F@#@$@#%@$cks their as#WR# around especially when you are not looking. The only way to fix this is by Renaming the Dir folder of Wife 1.0 and Mistress 1.0 to something else and Duce will not find them and you will not have problems. Well the way you know Duce has been ^&&*^*&*&ing your Wife and Mistress is that you will always find a copy of the Duce Bigalo 1.0 (program) (with file extension .open_wide) in the Wife and Mistress bin folders. But besides abusing your wife and Mistress, Duce does everything you need with your Remote Skill Training...Goodluck! |

You can easily avoid any problems with Wife 1.0 by regular patching with Flowers 2.0 or Candy 3.1, sometime it even works by installing Hug 1.1 as it comes for free instead of the other 2 programs.

Well, if you like it with Flowers then get GardenStakeOut 1.0, works like a charm, but it has a virus called Snake 1.x, and which shuts down Wife, Mistress, and Duce Bigalo, and while GardenStakeOut continues training your skills, Snake 1.x embeds in your registry and starts deleting everything, so you might want to actually be careful to use it once, because once you start the program you cannot shut it down and if you do, Snake 1.x will come out and your registry is gone.
I have found people who have found a way around that, what they do is place the computer in HYBERNATION, but not STANDBY, and when you bring back the computer from hyb, then GardenStakeOut is still running and you are safe.
  Goodluck! |

Wife 1.0 is pretty safe as its normally operates from your standart IP, Mistress 1.0 is abit tricky as it normally operates from a different IP ( as intended just for security reasons ). Also, even CCP must know that after you installed Wife 1.0 you have to live with all the consequenses and I don`t think CCP will punish anyone who already suffers from Wife 1.0 or later versions.

Getting Wife 1.0 and Mistress 1.0 to play nice on the same system is really rather simple. Run Mistress 1.0 from a VM that spoofs as your office IP, and make sure to disable file sharing on the VM. And you might want to avoid installing the VM compatibility tools on the host running Wife 1.0 as the VM may then broadcast errors and announcements from Mistress 1.0 back to the host via event logs. If you are running the OS X version of Wife 1.0... It's very important that you disable Growl for the VM as well as Mistress 1.0. Might want to flag an exception in Spotlight as well.
Then again you could just run Friend With Benefits Beta 3. It's open source, free, and has far more frequent upgrades as well as more features than Wife 1.0 and Mistress 1.0 |
