I've seen these on the market at ridiculous prices, so pricey that you can never make the money back, T2 is the only viable option. So I'm curious where these come from, or if they're even getting added to the universe any more? |

So called "Hauler spawns" can drop those. Those spawns are named "...... Harvester" or "..... Gatherer".
But they usualy drop 10k or 20k of minerals, only got 1 Erin Mining Upgrade in 1 year of mining and ratting. :( |

I've blown up a few in my time and never had any luck.
The costs basicly make them uninteresting to anyone except item collectors, MLUII's are the only viable option. |

Thats a stupid attitude, the anode's are worth the value tbh because it free's up that lil extra cpu which often vital in a tank for your hulk
Spawns are utterly random though i've had 3 successive spawns in the space of a few hours ratting and then it been months between seeing another |

Yes the Aoede is nice, same boost as the TII but will significantly less CPU penalty.
Unfortunately they cost 400 million.
I'm not sure that extra 5% cpu is worth the cost, I've never really managed to fit a hulk with MLUII's and found myself needing more CPU, and if I did need extra CPU It'd probably be more cost effective to buy one of the CPU boosting implants.

I got 2 of them (the erin ones I think)off a hauler spawn in a .5 system about a year ago. I haven't seen any others drop since. |

If you fit aoede in empire you *WILL* need that extra tank. Because a 6000 ehp barge with 800M of mods down low will attract orange-on-overview megathrons like flies to honey.
And if you use them in lowsec or 0.0 the roaming gang of reds will probably send you a "thank you" card.
So, yeah. Collectors item. |

and then theirs putting a one of a kind stamp on a postcard and mailing by droping it into a newspaper recycleing bin rare.
