I want to know why CCP thinks that taking more then 5 days to respond to a petition is acceptable business practice when in this current economic conditions people are looking for ways to reduce their expenses? And why after such longs waits or even longer, CCP does the barest minimum to solve the problem without doing anything to compensate for the lost time and ISK a player might experience.
Total fail CCP.
And you wonder why WoW has 5 million players while CCP has only 250 thousand. And I'll bet a lot of those 250 thousand have found someone else to do.

Because a lot of people make stupid petitions. Clogs the system. Hope yours isn't one of those. |

I want to know why the OP thinks that taking less than 5 seconds to come up with a whine on the forums is an acceptable trolling practice when in these current economic conditions people are looking for ways to reduce looking at ****posts. |

well since you actually lose stuff in this game it makes sense to petition every loss you have in hopes of getting something back. now you have 250,000 people shooting at each other losing ships left and right, of course its gonna take a while for your petition to reach the top of the pile. |

5 days isn't a long time for a petition response. The system is almost certainly clogged with erroneous petitions that people should have either known better than to have filed, or that got filed in the wrong place. Taking the time to actually read petitions and check up on their validity when possible is a MUCH better system than simply reimbursing people time and ISK based on the honor system in order to speed up petition response times. |

My fastest petition reply, excluding exploits on a game outside of EVE (P2Ps only):
Warhammer Online, filed it November 3, got a reply November 11. AoC's fastest petition reply to me was pushing 2 weeks. Also, you want to know why you sometimes have a longer wait for a petition reply?

Edited by: Cyprus Black on 29/01/2009 04:16:19 Hmm, my petition response time is usually within 24 hours. Isk spammer petitions are usually responded to within ten minutes.
Maybe it's just you, OP.
Oh, and comparing CCPs customer service to Blizzards customer service is laughable. Blizzard completely fails at customer service. |
