I believe I misread the title. I thought you meant these beetles, for some reason. ----------------------------------------------- shin ku myo u

Can't argue with their logic.
A scary thought I had is that if this technology developed any further is that today's suicide bombers are willing participants, tomorrow's may not be.. |

that has already happened actually. About a year back one of the groups strapped explosives onto 2 women who were believed to be mentally handicapped and told them to head into the market square where the explosives were detonated remotely.

its also not uncommon for them to kidnap mens families, make them drive the trucks, then remote detonating them.

Nothing novel, imo; It's all about determining which neurons to connect to, if you get the right parts, you're in control; I do think it could be done with more developed species too; Just require further studies of the neurological paths in their brains.
Strange timing on that post though, I've been grinding my teeth for 3 days trying to figure this out, excellent puzzle game that teaches you how to design neural networks, and gives you some tough challenges if you already know how. (I've finally beaten it tonight, after 20-ish hours of messing around with neurons and synapses, and banging my head into walls at some point )
The funny part is, the game is about controlling bugs.
