Iwas in a mood last night and saw a group of nasty ole pirates doing a patrol in a .4 to .1 sec, so I got out an alt and undocked her in her noob ship. Started jumping to gates, to gates, to base. Through the gates, followed them a bit. Called out thier ship types in local. Got the expected STFU etc. We danced around fro around 2 hrs. After a while, they got tired of it and left.
I think they did nail a guys HIC but can't be sure.
Here is the comical part. Before I undocked, I dropped around 200 mill in faction bpc's in the hold of the noob ship. They never scanned me, never locked me. Never knew. What is pirating all about anyway??? Not the ISK 
So understand, my view of pirates right now is rather low and not in a hatefull way  |

Real pirates kill or ransom everything they can get a lock or a smartbomb on. I will not hesitate to kill a rookie ship, shuttle or titan. Makes no difference to me. Yes, I don't care if it costs me 10k isk to get your civilian strip miner, it's worth it for the laughs.

No pirates tried to capture ships (if they were any good) and get their targets to surrender peacefully if at all possible.
What you describe is a violent sociopath. |

Pirates had me Station Locked once so I spamed them 0.01 ISK a few hundered times till they got ticked and left...then I went back to Hysec with the 380 Billion in BPO's. I would have paid a ransom to leave but knew a few of the names from the Forums who were, let's just say not to be trusted to take a bribe. |
