Must have the same technologies employed by the dreadnaught in its operational use and consturction, the entire ship must be focused on this singlar task of bombardment and resiliance, any capacity for anti-capitol role are welcomed bonuses if able. Under current Yulai Convention Rules full employment of said ship is illegal thus this ship is to be constructed on the sole propuse of research and protoyping only. Any empire caught activly using this warship in acutal plantary bombardment on any setttlement on the surface will have to answer to the convention, and cannot and willnot hold Novafox Shipyards responsible for providing the hull. Customers Once again the four major empires of the amarr, gallente, minmatar and caldari have requested hull construction of the teir 2 dreadnaught class seige platform. So... they are well over due for a make over. First one up is the amarrian one shape is staying the same just more details than last time to help make it look more capitolish. In my opinion, it lacks the gracious curves and domes that Amarr architecture seems to fundamentally built around. The curves just seems a bit too broken up in their general shapes, but I think that's mostly caused from the bottom half being rotated 180' in terms of the curve. I seen the four amarr captiols, and theres nothign gracous about them, only thier freighter seems to be well inline with thier style. Your opinion is valued though but line work is just a guide line for when I do the paint and final finish. bff Jill	Posted - 2009.01.30 03:56:00 - [8] You could try making the bottom part not as straight and have it kind of curve backwards, even keeping the general design with its bumpy bits and such, but just have it kind of gracefully slope back (think of the amarr missile frigate kind of) Also see what happens if you make the top bit kind of bulk out again slightly around a quarter of the way up from the main bulky part where the up/down and sides (wings, whatever) join. To give it a more beefy and solid look here is a bad photoshop to try and demonstrate kind of what i mean. The botom part should probably be larger and redesigned to actually look right with the backwards curving, and the part at the top doesnt look anything like i think it should look like properly, but its the right size. Note that what adding that bulky bit does is that it gives you a solid base for a proper amarr half/banana iconic structure to spring up out of it and look right while still keeping the overall tallness of the ship, with out making it look too thin.

Ill see about tossing more curves in though, but most of the bulk is revelation and aurgor inspired both not very pertty ships in the amarr navy.

The gallente one is mostly done with its overhaul on design the engines are providing to be an issue. The minmatar one is getting some updating to conform to the new republic designs. The caldari one is becomming more satisfactory with each revision.

Oh the gun pylons are being worked on however due to their nature they are being built in another yard. While those are being worked elsewhere well be installing critical systems through out the ship including the much needed armor plating and reinforment hull beams to further enhance integrety and apperance, and well be onling the reactor sometime next week hopefully so at least well get lights on to be able to work the later hours when the station is oribit behind the planet. ============= Pre Order your Sisters of Eve ship today

The construction site of the Testament was mostly destroyed a week ago, alot of my workers are died in the incident and all the work done with the testament so far was lost, including the original blue print. Cause of the incident is still under investigation however Amarr officals are contempt with blaming some of the recently freed slaves I decided to hire, I want to blame thier reactor the amarr navy representatives where installing that day but concord is still shifhting though the debris for any clues and of course bodies. Alerting the thousands of family members of the incident also took alot of time. Materials lost where equatable to a two battleships since these hulls are only simulations alot of parts where left out. Workers however will be hard to replace, this is also the largest smugde in novafox shipyards safety record, last incident was before we started zero-g construction. However we've grown over the year quite a bit, who said we didnt have a second ship in construction for the Gallente? To appease stockholders to assure them all business isnt grinding to a hault we revealed the Hephaestus MkII to the public, though still under construction alot of the inner hull is complete just the means of installing exterior systems now I do say it probably rivals every ship NFX shipyards in terms of being Veinly challenged. /roleyplay off Well got alot of feedback for the testament and was going to 'modify' the work done so far instead of starting over, but fate had other plans and destroyed it entirely. Yeah... so I now am forced to start over on that ship but it gives me a second chance to right all the wrongs I did. The hephaestus (affectionally nicknamed the heffer?) was something I tossed together real quick in attempts to make my mind calm down after getting fustrated at the loss of the other ship and most of the work you see for that was about an hours work. not sure what I can do with alot more time though well just have to find out. Overall shape is finished just going have to detail it now. The gallente shape has too many detailed curves so it does nto look massive enough. Testament has two profiles, the seiged and unseiged modes, in unseiged mode its profile is more linear froward as with most ships in eve are. thus it being perfectly veritcal isnt the case, in seige mode the verical shape takes some more definition from the side but from the fron the horizontal profile disappears as the two weapon pylons swing out to help heat from the guns vent. Thus this being a nal*ar knock off is a far cry in most cases. Asgeir the ccp art director used to do ships for eve and did all the original capitols read from his foot nots on his ideas on how to make things look massive one of the things he tailored on was extreme busy details and alot of decks (floors of a ship) to help increase thier sized apperance. Gallente design is often the hardest as you really cant barrow to much from another ship ull and still call it unique, something Ive been getting away with the other races ships so far. The Amarr design could do with something to make it more asymmetrical, and give it a little more individual character. Perhaps one side's 'wing' could be longer than the other, with an armaments pod halfway along. The Gallente one could do with something a little asymetrical too, but to a much lesser extent, as it is a more complicated design. Remember, an asymmetrical design does make for a more unique signature when viewed from a distance.

The amarr one isnt going to get the aysemmetry treatment however its going to a total redesign, trying to find something for the center section and lower sections of the ship the new aft and upper are unique enough for me to de-nal***ar it something it wsa complained about in the first interation, however still having to find the unifying form most amarr ships have when the center and lower sections are concerned. Minmatar one is also going though a overhaul on how its going to transform during seige mode and I am liking the newer prospect better as its more sensible to have it that way. Heffer is a slow thorn in my side have not foudn the motivation to get it done, my work is now following me home and its been pertty heptic for me lately. Concept was done in about 15 minutes, I can do the same for the last juggernaught. The amarr empire is still beating me over the head about the testaments design but i hope the next interation will please them finally, and I just got scheduled to redo all my tier 2 and tier 3 destroyers and consider constructing the 'super battleship' class of ships Im thinking along the lines of a mini dreadnaught with one xl gun and a compliment of large guns Im not sure if thats programatically feasable but its an idea none the less. ============= Pre Order your Sisters of Eve ship today

Other things happening at the shipyards is that where' developining pocket dreandaughts and escort carriers along with the teir 2 and tier 3 destroyers again and going to finish a request from interbus on a new shuttle. Coloring will be comming next I wont be using the lines art in the product this time as I usually do for colored works. The day you see me using the line work for the color phase is when I actually do manage to create a good enough line peice to use to begin with.
