I am looking at the idea of building mining barges. Unfortunately after poking around in Heimatar I was unable to track down a BPO, how would I go about acquiring one?

Mining barge (retriever, procurer and covetor) BPOs have been seeded for some bizarre reason in 0.0 space, they are available in one of ORE stations:
4C-B7X VI - Moon 1 - Outer Ring Excavations Refinery
4C-B7X VIII - Moon 1 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost
NM-OEA V - Moon 4 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost
NM-OEA VI - Moon 23 - Outer Ring Excavations Mining Outpost
But be aware unless you know what you are doing you will probably get shot and killed. If you are willing to pay slightly over the normal price you should find some in Jita. |

They're sold in ORE space - which is NPC 0.0. Either take a cov-ops out there and pick it up yourself (risking it's loss), or pay the inflated price players charge when they place their imported copies onto the market. |

Sometimes the Jita price is as low as the npc price ....
depends on who got ganked really |

i got mine in oursulaert Gallente space, they were all seeded on the market there about 2 months back

They have never been seeded outide the ORE stations no.
