Right... I think this is the correct place to put this. Anyway I've heard from quite a few places that you can make more money from the assorted crud that falls out of drones by doing something before you sell it. I had interpreted this as just reprocessing it but from looking at what get from doing this you seem to make far less. Am I missing something here or have I just misinterpreted what people have been saying about compounds? |

Have you got the right skills? You'd loose a lot of minerals if you're not refining at 100% efficiency, which I would guess would contribute to loosing money overall. |

Hmm, I'd always intepreted skills such as refining as only effecting refining as opposed to reprocessing. I'm going to take a wild guess that I was wrong? |

standing with amarr atm is 8.6 atm, but yeah just to check I got this understood... reseach scrap metal skill and refing skills, find an efficient station at refining/reprocessing, profit? |

Standing with "Amarr" faction is irrelevant. You need 6.67 (or better) with the corporation owning the station you're docked at.
Assuming a 50% base station, you'll need something like Refining 5, Refinery Efficiency 3, and Scrapmetal Processing 3 in order to refine non-ore sources of minerals at 100% (note, I may be wrong here ... have had 5/5/5 refining skills for years...)
However, with that said ... it's kind of irrelevant to be talking about drone poo since the source is getting removed in ~4 days. |

Drone poo is highly compressed compared to the minerals it turns into. People who want to ship a ton of minerals across the galaxy may pay a premium if you do NOT refine it. |

I don't know about everybody but you can still stockpile...CCP is not removing the drone poo from the game, just removing the source.
