31/01/2009 - 15:00 Prime Orbital Systems V Dawn of Transcendence
We would like to wish all the best to Dawn of Transcendance.... we come to clean up!
Last week, we got hit by the Dq stick. We are just 1 of many teams to have made mistakes at the start through the miscommunication from CCP. Only 1 team got Dq'd. Each match that required a countdown, the communication from CCP as to what was happening was missing. They failed to inform us the countdown in local was the end of a match not the start. Our resulting actions was due to this miscommunications.
That's all, I request anyone that was a member of POS for that fight no longer post anything to do with this. Communication is what failed us all.
Unfortunately as a result of the miscommunications to POS, we jumped the start command, launching into a deadly and precise attack removing instantly a Blackbird and Crow.... If the match had started, you would have witnessed a devastating victory with POS now in a strong position.
And so, we now face in our path, a planet. As we harden down, grip down on our controls, POS moves forward. The Dq is not out of our minds, we have placed it right in front of us as a guiding star, as a beacon to continue.....
If we lose, we will be out... if we win, we need to win so convincingly that not even the movement of Planets will dictate our route....

Fast fight, good fight. Good luck if you manage to go through, but I wouldn't be surprised we'll be so far down in the rankings we'll keep you guys stuck in the first round too.
EDIT: we're the first team to know they're outta the tournament

Your failure was not due to miscommunication from CCP, you can keep repeating that lie over and over again but it does not make it true. You failed because someone on your team thought 'stop' meant 'go'. Then they further messed up by 'forgetting' to stop moving.
The fact that you won your second match so decisively but will not advance into the next round highlights those errors even further.
You guys messed up. You paid. Better luck next time. |

Ignore the spammers.... We had a good fight, and congratulations to POS for winning.
We had a theoretically sound setup - But sadly, we didn't manage any good hits on the BB's at first, which led to the scorps being jammed, which led to the ishtars dampening the abaddons... A domino effect, and as expected, the entire match hinged on the first few seconds. IF the scorps got off some more jams on the ishtars, the abaddons might have had a chance of getting the BB's down at the very least, we just got a bit of bad luck :)
At least we learned alot from our 2 matches... See ya in the next tourney :)
