i run classic on my labtop is there a way you can put a test on the site to see if computers are able to run it?? PLEASE!!

That's a lot of work for them just to accommodate for a few people.
Do you not know how to find out what graphics your laptop has? Or do you not know how to google for the Shader Model version it supports? |

It's not a whole lot of work. Especially not if you already have a means to deliver the result and and application to house the test. The result (a.k.a. "yes" or "no"^^) could be shown on the classic client's loginscreen.
Actually, someone on these forums even posted a codesnippet on how to do it, but I'm not sure which language that was or whether it would have worked. |

Download and install gpu-z ,it will show if yopu have SM 2.0 or not (look to drirect x support clolumn )

It was a dev who wrote a simple app, just previous to the launch of Trinity.
This Dev Blog has an application at the very bottom of the blog where you can download to test for Shader Model 3, but not 2. Is there a similar app for SM2, or if not, can CCP 2Kay or another dev write a similar one? (other than what KISOGOKU linked above)
