I first experienced this about a week ago when experimenting with different cruisers. I could tank and kill (slowly) 0.0 rats in a cruiser going about 400m/s with a sustained 70 dps tank doing 185 kinetic/thermal damage. Anyone else using cruisers to rat in 0.0? This is also using my pvp setup, meaning I could get more dps/tank if I wanted to.0

I use a rupture.
Works well.
Vexor is the best though, tbh.

Stabber assigned fighters could probably do it for the lulz.
But yes, Rupture and the Vexor make T1 cruiser ratting boats. It will take you forever, but you can do it.
The Moa and the thorax could do it decently and the Caracal could out range some spawns.

The vexor, due to its sheer versatility.
You can add some ec-300's in case you come up against another player and use them to disengage the scramble. You don't need mag stabs with this thing. ;]
You can also get a pretty good tank going with 2 med reppers, damage control and plate etc...

Depends on the rat type. You can kill a Serpentis Officer Spawn in a Caracal, but god help you if you try to rat Angels in a T1 cruiser. |

I used to rat angels in a rax, worked fine. Was pretty much a standard AB PvP fit, but with a mag stab swapped out for a small rep. Did about 500 dps if I recall (with 5 valk 2's), would kill BS spawns while still in the shield buffer, was only the smaller stuff that'd get you into armour, which is what the small rep was for.
