Devs seem to be interested in making eve less click intensive. as far as i can tell sni is the most ridiculously click intensive aspect of eve.
as for me i do mostly invention, this is something that could be streamlined massively by being able to set multiple jobs and its what bugs me most.
but what annoys you? |

Definately too many clicks.
A default to the bpc's current station to install the job would be a start, let alone assuming you want to use the first available slot.
It's also particularly annoying that you go all through the invention setup process only to be told it's too complicated at the last hurdle when you've reached your max jobs. Would it be that hard to check when you first click invention on the bpc? |

In fact a few more remember settings all around wouldn't go amiss, i.e. when manufacturing for the corp, remembering which output hangar to put stuff in. |

Yeah the lack of any thought to the ui when it comes to blueprint use. Simple things like right clicking a bpo...I can't invent or re it, why are they even options? For a copy, I can build and invent...why ME/PE options? |

Science & Industry window -> Settings Tab -> Input/Output Settings -> Defined by User
Now if only I can get it to remember my range settings to make working with a POS easier. |

Highlight a set of "X" BPC/BPO's of the same item and start a job like you can now. Doing each job one at a time sucks.
Fix the rounding errors. Making 100's of t1 stuff only to find you're short 3 trit (or salvage for rigs) when you have enough according to excel and/or other tools.
Would be nice to be able to do invention at a POS from a distance instead of babysitting it. |

I just created 100 blueprint copies. Great, but why am I being told they aren't stackable? In theory, I understand that a blueprint may be different in terms of ME/PE/etc.. but why can't blue prints with the same attributes stack? Do I really need to see 100 BPC's with the EXACT same properties spewed across my hanger? It would be much more manageable to have them stack by attribute. |

I would like something like "use the first available slot from the location you selected last time".
And a better way to organize all the lines in a POS.
And i would like it very much when we could open all the s&I windows with preset values directly from the IGB. |

Having thousands of non stackable Bpc really is a pain. There must be a better solution to make this more comfortable, just my thoughts: I can move them into a container. Thats ok. But i cant transport those containers inside a freighter. I have to make contracts to move them around. Also there is a limit of numbers in every container, which is pretty low. If in emergency i need to move them to another station this is such a painful job not to mess them if you want to transport them together with the stuff of your corpmates. There is also a bug (already reported but got no answer after weeks) that if you want to contract boxes with thousands of bpc in it, it might end in: cannot find the item). Totally annoying.
Also i cannot search in containers, for example i know that i have a rorqual bpc somewhere in one of my containers, but i cannot find it because i have dropped it accidently over one of my hundreds containers.. i know its there, it took me really really long time to check all containers to find it. If i rename a container it magically jumps somewhere and i have to sort and find it, this is quite new and doesnt make the handling easier. With configurable container thats the best part of it, i sometimes play on different computers and then everything is locked, when i drop something into it, because this informations isnt saved on the server but on the client only. If you ever have to reinstall eve, you have to fix all of your containers.
This all sucks. I know, if the devs would put some love into it, it can be made better. |

Not being able to input multiple jobs at the same time. Not have default settings (including use first available slot at the location of BP) or last installed job settings. If either (or both) of them was implemented it would make S&I soooo much better. |

- No 'remembering' of previous settings, things like installation, input/output, number of runs. Settings should be linked to the container ID, so jobs from that container *points*, have this format.
- No ability to put in multiple identical jobs. This could be done client-side, it has all the information it needs to do this. Any error condition (someone else got a job in there before you, you can't run any more jobs, etc, etc) should stop adding jobs, the ones that are already added are there, and stay there. [See below, this forum doesn't seem to support nested lists]
- The client knows what a blueprint is, (copy, relic, original etc) The right-click menu options should not have things like 'invent' for a BPO or relic, the invention should only be available on a BPC.
Multiple Idential Jobs
- Select several (identical) BPOs/BPCs
- Select an installation
- Select several production lines
- The interface then adds the jobs, sequentially using the production line that has the shortest queue from the selected lines.

yeh thats pretty much what i had in mind, the whole process seems to be unnecessarily annoying.
but also i think this side of eve should be less daunting, why as a new science dude should you have to google 3rd party aps to work out your probability of success? things like this i think are serious barriers to more people enjoying the aspect of this game. im not even sure if probability is the best way to do invention, if ccp truly wants "push button-receive bacon" surely make it twice as expensive but always successful |

Too many things to list on top of my head, as far as I'm concerned CCP needs 1- 2 expansions (or more) worth of solid work to revamp the S & I gameplay. Atm, I don't think it's high on their list of things to do.

Am new to S & I myself, but i have found that when putting a BPC into a hangar of a pos module to build it, and i right click on the BPC and select manufacture, i then have to select the module to have it build in.
Having it default to the one its in would be good |

The most annoying things:
- can't access POS modules' cargo hold within the POS shield, have to be less than 3000m from module - when building using a POS module have to select Location and module for each run Ealurian Shipyards' BPC shop |

What comes from head:
Remember factory for ME/PE/CPY/INV last used, idealy next available queue default.
Containers: More then 1000 identities - It's anoying when handling large amounts of copy's
Containers: List them in S&I as "Folders"
Set multiple jobs of same Type at once by just selecting the factory and the System fills all available Slots with selected BP'S as a batch.
Instead of "BP Based" start of jobs "Queue-based" start of jobs: Select a queue, select BP and insert amount of runs. If you do invention for example you can say "20 runs" and if you have 20 bpc's and enough materials it will start. If you say Manufacturing and set 40 runs and you have 4 10-run BPC it will start. Would also help with those short-run jobs where you have to babysit every 2h or so...

yeh, a small remember settings button would be a great help. especially could be easily done with copying to always run the runs and amount you last put in,
would save the annoyances of accidentally putting 300 copies of 1 run bpcs (its happened before lol) |

1) CLICK-FEST!!! (Sorry 'bout the caps, but you know, right?)
2) Lack of public ME/PE research and copy-slots, even in the arse end of nowhere losec
3) Time to build T II items, even with max skill--it really should not take 1d17h to make 10 Stasis Webifier II's, OK? |

I wonder if it would be possible for each bpc's icon to have little numbers in the corners reflecting the bpcs ME PE and runs? that would be a nice litle touch. |
