As for the OP, good riddance to da evil bot. While I generally deplore the loss of miner hulks ( means more cost for me to buy minerals, though ofcourse it's compensated for by increased demand on ganking ships ), killing bots is a good thing. I guess with the rising price of minerals, highsec mining bots have become lucrative.
Wipe them out... All of them.

In the future though, just spring for a Talos off the bat fitted with ATLEAST meta 3 blasters and antimatter rounds with 3x mag stabs (named for the extra speed/dmg).
