There are six slots available for those implants 1-6; w/the six actually being a wiring. What I'm not quite clear on is what constitutes a set.
For instance the "snake" implant provides a bonus for speed. While the "slave" implant provides a bonus for armor, and the Crystal provide a bonus for shields.
The bonus's are applied or the greater bonus is applied to a set of these implants. What I'd like to know is what number constitutes a "set". Can I employ to of each of these emplants and still obtain the bonus?
Any info on this would be helpful. It takes practice, time, and execution. |

A set is slots 1-6 either all being high grade or low grade with no mixing of the two. |

You need at least 2 implants of the same type (slave, snake, halo, ...) for the bonus to work. The biggest possible bonus is obviously a full set with all 6 implants. |

He was not being helpful, he was being deciving! You may, ofcourse, mix high and low grades, as long they have the same type in their name (any snakes go, for example).
They are all pretty ineficient without the slot-6 Omega implant, which you want to have.

ineffective? I have Snake A thru D and it gets me just over 30% increase in speed, and thats only 4 of the 6, and no linking implant... nah, once you have 3 or more, you start seeing a difference, especially in slower ships like freighters ( when 80ms becomes 110ms, yo actually SEE it  ) anyway, I think sets are totally worth it, as long as you know which ones will help you most AND can keep them safe. |

said inefficient, not ineffective; and considering how much of a bonus the link gives relative to the bonuses from just 1-5 it's a fairly accurate statement I think.
