CA log off just as much as everyone else. The only different is that CA will blatantly lie otherwise when we have all seen it.
As a matter of fact, XIF learned about log in/log out techniques from CA in Immensea. Our boards were full of complains and discussion about these methods but CCP deemed it legal, so we moved on.

loging off to save your ship is so lame and and act of cowardy that it more then deserve a post on the forum. In fact polaris should make a sticky where we could post our fraps, screen shots and posts to name this lame ass players.

Ok, I was in Xetic for the entire campaign and we never used log in/log out tactics. at least not in any of the fleets i was in, which is a lot if you think about 5+ hours a day fighting for weeks... Anyway, i highly doubt if ANY of our fleets did that because CA fleet commanders and PvP'ers are actually really stand up guys and wouldnt do that...but hey...
What i think you guys interpreted as log in trap was actually insta jumping....i remember after a fight you guys were complaining about log on trap... someone even said "nice log on trap..."
Anyway....i must say Xetic has come a long way in PvP since we started fighting them. At the beginning they were calling targets in local

Hi.
Try training rockets to lvl 2.
That extra firepower might've saved the day
This thread should be locked as it has been reposted in 2 other areas of the forum and, to be honest, this one is likely to end in flames.

Ens, this is thread is pathetic.
You know just as well as everyone that both sides us the same tactics.
And as for us asking you to fight in bs, not in frigs, if you bring a bs, it's at least a target worth killing.... 100mil vs 100isk issue.
but ffs, keep this bs off the forums now. |

Strange post. Of course SA has corps that are not on par with the main pvp corps in most the alliance. Is something wrong with that?
The same **** is seen in deep curse.
I fail to see the reason for this post.

First, I know nothing about the incident in this post, which corp it was etc.
Well, we have many newer corps. So what?
It's a never ending process, old corps die, new blood is needed. It was CA that started the Quantity over quality. But as you can understand, we had a sometimes hard time trying to keep it up with our 10 corps vs your 50+ corps.
Joining an alliance is a BIG step for a corp. They are rather fresh and need to learn alot. As such they can't only be judged by how strong they are when they apply, but what potential they have, how strong they will be once they are fully integrated and has adopted to living in 0.0 space.
Look at your own alliance. You have corps that are a joke in 0.0 space and should be hugging scor roids in 0.8 space. And you have corps that were such a joke but have grown into good corps. You have members screaming "I'LL PAY!" when I blow them up inside Curse space. You have members flaming your own members on how the **** they can be attacked by me inside Curse. And you have members that doesn't understand why I attack them. And you have members that doesn't hesitate to use questionable tactics. Do I have to mention stuff such as the bug where your ship was unable to be targetted when you logged out while cloaked after a jump (which some corps used A LOT (and with alot I mean I had ~10 members from one corp using this in just ONE day))?
I don't see the point in this thread. There are "bad eggs" in almost every corp, not to mention alliances. As for accepting new corps that applies to the SA, I don't see anything strange in that...

No, just whee someone logs off or something in such situations :/ I think he got scared when we engaged and killed his drones or something. --------

Ach, these things happen, no point tarring a whole corp or alliance by a single members actions. People will use these "tactics", and I use the term loosely, until it's impossible to do 'em.
Anyho, some people do, some people don't. Like the two dual miked SA (?) raven pilots on the HED route last night. They had the balls to try and keep running to get away rather than jump and log off, and props to em. One was lucky, the other wasn't but still goes to show; each to their own.
