But I guess I was wrong
I'm an experience richer.
I both wish I was the sell, and feel sorry for the buyer... is that wrong?

Are you trolling? I mean come on seriously.
Granted it might not be the most interesting subject, but just couldn't help but /facepalm when I was updating my orders and got a "your price is 74% below market average" and saw that.
Why do I even bother explaining myself |

Due to an unfortunate series of events (mostly due to my somehow messing up with my Market sorting) I purchased a Thrasher a little while ago for over six hundred million ISK, in Jita.
Which is why I now have a security status somewhere south of negative four - I took my frustration out on a random three year old NPC starter corp character who looked like they'd already lost an Industrial to a ganking since they'd become AFK in Jita.
Pod goes pop and I feel a little better about my day.
But funnily enough I was more annoyed afterwards that I'd forgotten to insure the Thrasher before getting myself CONCORDOKKEN in it rather than my having bought it by accident in the first place

Btw, this could also be ISK laundering. RMT sellers trying to launder their illegal isk by having their alts/friends buy basic items way overpriced. Or just someone who doesn't want the isk to show up in the 'Donations' tab when working with spy alts or things like that. I know I do it when I infiltrate corporations with rigorous security checks.

I can confirm this known strategy, part of when I took on director at my current corporation was to change our security checks. Part of that involved API checking including looking for odd transactions in the market pull and not just oddities in the journal. |

You also have to remember that this is EVE so your settings for your client might suddenly change for no reason, so they assumed it was based on price one day and it really wasn't. |

The fact someone with at least 900mil in their pocket is buying a t2 instead of an officer mod is what is sad about this..
