Recently I started a corp with an alt char of mine and wanted to set up a P.O.S. and in Caldari state. Much to my dismay , i see that my standings as a corp has gone down to a level of 2.1. I need a standing of 6.0 to set one up. Any suggestion as to how to get my standings up with the corp as fast as possible?

look on the sell forum for someone offering standings boosting for the required empire.
They will join your corp and increase you corps standings with said empire and then you put the pos up and they leave
all for a fee of course |

Otherwise it's mission *****ing to get your own personal standings up. It wont be the standard missions that get you faction standing though, only the storyline missions once every 16ish normal missions affect faction standing. |

Thx for the info. I think i'll go for the booster char. However, which sell forms? In the eve market place? under char bazaar?
And what is the standard fee?

The normal sell orders forum has several offers of high sec, high standing corp set up offers. There's a high turnaround of posts in that forum so you will have to go down 7-8 pages I guess to get a few.

Can I just check your wording.
When you state that you started an corp with an alt character. Do you mean that there are two characters in the corp: you and the alt; or that the alt started the corp by themselves.
If it is the first of these options then get the alt to leave the corp. Your standing will then jump to the standing of your main. Wait until the standing is above 6 and then plant your POS. After the POS is planted you can get the alt to rejoin, the tower will not unanchor if your standing drops below the 6.0 requirement.

I started the corp with an alt of mine. This char that i'm posting with is in a different corp, however, in the same alliance.
The corp now has a few members, so the whole leaving option is not availabe

The fastest way to get your standings up is to do the "Keeping Crime in Check Missions" and the Cosmos missions for the faction. Cosmos mission for the races allied to the faction of your choice will also give a boost although smaller. If you are looking at Caldari space you will want to do the Keeping crime in check & cosmos missions for Amarr as well if you need to. Story missions will also help as they give a nice faction standing boost especially level 4 ones. Never decline or fail story missions for this reason. Cosmos will result in a large faction loss if failed so best to hit the complex 1st and get the items before speaking with the agent. Same goes for Keeping Crime in check. It can take forever to collect all the tags so look on market and go for the cheapest tags 1st.

There are also event agents that will give important story missions hidden around. They are normally at moons and there are often clues to their location. I did find one in Caldari Space but forgot where it was. I will check my bookmarks.
Train Social & Connections Skill to level 4 minimum. That will also give you a nice boost.
If you want to get your standings up for Caldari fast then avoid Minmitar and Gallente agents as if you work for them Caldari will start to hate you. The reason your standings may have decreased for corp is if you have taken on players with low Caldari standings. If that is the case they are bringing your overall average down. What you can do it temp kick the members set the station up using your personal standing. Once it is anchored invite the members back. Once you do this you have to leave the station up but can offline it. Just dont unanchor it and take it down.

that evebott website doesn't sound like it was designed for macroing courier missions at all. |

I've been told these skills do not effect your ability to anchor a POS in a 0.4 sec system or above. The game will look at your standing before skills are applied in regards to anchoring POSses.
The skills will help you gain access to better agents though, so it could still be useful of course.
