I'm sure I'll get laughed at for this but here's my vengeance tackler. It is meant as bait that someone willingly engages thinking its an easy kill. Its just indestructable. Cant be neuted, drones can't break its tank, guns cant track it. I'll drop to 1/2 armor if I get hit hard but I always seem to be able to rep it back up before getting hit again. Just have to orbit close, offset noses, pulse mwd, hit cap booster after nuet cycle.
[Vengeance, bait] Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II Damage Control II Small Armor Repairer II Small Armor Repairer II
1MN MicroWarpdrive II Warp Scrambler II Small Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 200
Small Nosferatu I Small Nosferatu I
Maybe I've just engaged noobs but it's worked so far.

Drop the MWD for an AB and fit RL II instead of Nos and you'll have something that tanks better(by virtue of a smaller sig.) and does at least some damage. |

Without MWD he will not be able to dictate range, quickly close to scram and fulfill his role as advance tackler. He is pulsing the MWD only if he needs it in order to maintain scram range vs. an AB-fitted cruiser, (which should be rare enough). Otherwise he should not need to run the MWD at all once he gets into scram range and has his opponent pinned, (but he absolutely needs the MWD to get there in the first place). Excellent setup, (for what it does).

Exactly, with an AB I found that I could be kited against those with a mwd. They would hold me between disruptor and scram range, realize that I was bait, and disengage. So I swapped to a mwd and can now close the gap. I begin with the mwd on to get into range, turn it off while tackling. I will sometimes pulse it when I get hit hard to increase my transversal temporarily. The Nos are required for tackling neut setups. Two of them staggered gives me enough cap to make sure my scram stays active. It may be less cap regen than they are neuting but the refresh rate is higher, meaning I almost always have some cap to work with.

Once I get the scram, my fleet enters system, warps to me and owns. Maybe I've just engaged noobs but it's worked so far.
