If all three are going into the same combat zone then yeah, mine doenst hold so well. Though, looking at that, I'd say it is good to go and should hold up great. Even in a laggier situaion.

As the prices can vary from one week til the next I'd start by looking at the GPUs and then use a price compare site. Might wanna go SLI and down grade CPU..just to support 3 monitors, as 3 off one card can lead to problems from time to time. Then upgrade power supply. 700w or above (depends on what cards and if you have a zillion HDDs) Also you're going to need more than a 60gb SSD unless you're all about NAS, SAN or cloud storage. Get a 500 - 1TB regular HDD. But really take it easy on the CPU, and just buy another monitor or 3. Eve still is mostly ram intensive.

But if you have the money to blow on it, why not I myself am waiting for the Ivy Bridge for my next CPU upgrade. You could downgrade to the i5 2500K, OC easily to 4.5ghz and notice no difference between that and the i7(OC respectively). Also to note, in my experience even with the latest drivers, Nvidia cards don't show all the effects in EvE (Acceleration Gates pops to mind) while with the latest ATI drivers they do. That was with 480GTX and 6870 (x2). For multiple monitor setups, ATI all the way. So effortless and beautiful when you've got it running. Have fun!

Lose the ATI graphics if this is primarily for Eve. All the physics offload in Eve only works on NVidia cards. Currently that's not much of an issue but I suspect :awesome: will win over sense soon.... tl;dr for Eve use NVidia - yeah yeah I know, I have NVidia and ATI here but for Eve use NVidia. Edit - actually I HAVE found something good about Incarna. No, really I have. I can have the physics simulation (clothes/hair) running on my 2 year old Alienware lappie and offload the entire nonsense to the second video card (which normally does nothing due to SLI windowing oddness). So now I can burn another 75W looking at... oh wait its a door. Heh.

I can run 5 clients on a e7500 with an hd6800 splitting clients between a 24" LCD and a 21" crt. (yes another lcd would be nice) & 6 gigs of ram. Granted I don't run them all @ 1920 full graphics but quite honestly I don't see much difference in their graphic settings. Most of the time you're looking at a bunch of red + signs floating around /yawn. You're rig should easily run three clients. Personally I would probably wait till the new cores come out 1st quarter of 2012 but that's just me.

Speed is not that important but you might consider going for 1600+MHz SSD OCZ .... but which model ??? ATI or NVidia, if I would have to choose i'd go ATI . Why ? I'm not bothered with all that Physx. Not many games use it and if they do you can barely see it. And final advice. If you want help with building new PC go to the specialized forum, don't ask on trolls forum. ps. why the f*** forum automatically remove multiple spaces and leave only one between words ????

Look for a Seasonic, or Corsair PSU, another option if you want something different would be the NZXT Halle90 series which is the one I went with and reviewed on par or slightly superior to the Corsair units, the XFS units are also worth a look. Either way don't scrimp. an 850 should supply plenty of juice for any video card you want unless you are looking to run a Crossfire or SLI configuration, even then it should be able to handle all but the most extreme configurations.

I only included the SSD because it will be used to run EVE, I will have another 2gb (normal disk) for the rest of the stuff. I need the i7 for my mathlab stuff too. Thanks again everyone !

People always overbuy their PSUs - for any and every single video card setup, 500w is more than enough. For SLI, it's still enough, but you can get another 100 watts just to be safe. You will not have stability issues.
