 how many times are people going to post with '***NEW***' or '+++GREAT+++' in front of items or just lable something wrong:
you see: MEGATHORN
you inspect: Shuttle
It's a waste of Escrow space and only encourages would be scammers so....
Why not have items listed by there actual name? Don't give people the chance to badly name things.
This isn't a rant because I got stung I'm just fed up with having to look under every possible way a person might have listed something to spend my ISK

Totally agree.
Also allowing arbitrary names just makes it more difficult to find items since you don't know under what name it will be listed.
Also the Escrow window is dying for a search function.
If that is too difficult just break down the escrow like the market.. by categories.. Ships, ship modules, etc..
Almost anything to better organize the big endless list that the escrow is, would be helpfull.

In real life you get to 'inspect' the goods, which granted we can currently do. But have you ever mistaken a pushbike for a jumbo jet? A certain degree of moderation should be in order.

if all the named stuff could be sold via sell orders on the normal market the escrow-system would be only useful for scammers, selling of outfitted ships or module-packages and BPCs.

i totally agree. as far as i'm bothered all people who try to scam others on escrow deserve a 3000 year ban for adding server load. please note: i've not been had because i got bored looking on escrow, finding what i wanted only to find it was a shuttle or some other peace of junk.
and there will be a market for named stuff in shiva as far as i know
