This is what the whole CSM was discussed of in the 07 Fanfest and how they expected the CSM to act. Basically the Watchdog of CCP. And to add, nothing ever got done sitting back and watching things, roll your sleeves up and and put arms deep into the method. I just wish some of these other CSM's actually had the testicular fortitude to make these post's.

I know they don't have it done yet and I know they will push out the devblogs and test patch as soon as they can, but that doesn't mean that we (players as a group) are still anxious to find out about it. As such Pattern's post is very representative of what the players are feeling as a whole (in my opinion), which is a good thing. He didn't diminish or dilute his position as a CSM. In fact, he has reinforced it, as he's demonstrating that CSMs are players too, and want the same things as other players. See? You can spin it any way you like. Stop ripping on Pattern. He didn't do anything inappropriate.

On topic though; I ate it. No. The CSM are supposed to just check so there's no t20's handing out BPO's to alliances. But that part was forgotten. Not that I really care (tbh I was inactive when the t20 happened and reactivated accounts just because the widespread posting on gamer sites reminded me of EVE's existance, so I should thank him).. but the original intention should be remembered, so we can point at how flawed it was already then. It just got worse, which, I didn't think it could.

I got it for ú20 here in the UK which was pretty good, seeing as most places sell it for ú40 still. Although I would say it isn't worth ú40 until more content is added, although griefing people with the Smoker doesn't get old.
