Nope, but are giving the winning team an immobile ship that can sit wherever they choose. about about 6 years of game time. your right, to balance this, they should not give new players a shuttle, and instead give them 5 free years of game time. I mean then you won't be able to whine about how they don't do it for the alliance tournament

Now if that special thing would have been a rare BPO or Super-T2-Faction-Stealth-Interceptor-Battlecruiser I'd agree that this is fracked. But if this is just a shuttle with - say 50 - instead of 10 m3. Shrug. Non-issue. If you really need one of these things you can either buy the boxed set - or buy it from a box noob. WoW is more fun, because it's easier to socially interact, like dance or hug which is actually great. It's also cool that you don't loose anything when you die in WoW. The eVe playerbase is a bit arrogant, but there are nice macros available to do mining and stuff.

You'll be able to buy them from clewless n00bs for a couple of million ISK. They don't make "EvE=WoW" any more than CCP giving out Apotheoses on the anniversary of the game did.
