Hitesugo	Posted - 2009.02.04 18:56:00 - [1] Hello guys, just started probing and finding complexes but i as minmetar and most people are flying hac's in complexes, I got good minm Hac skills but minmetar does not have any good tanking hac's does anyone have any good sugestions for a minm ship to use for fighting complexes?

There you go. This is mainly because of crazy EM resist. Any ship you can get up at or above 90ish vs rats main damage types are good. I don't say you can solo any 6/10 or above in a munnin, but for tank, minmatar got their bright star. ofc, any of the hics makes for good tanks too, but a pilot flying them might not come in 12 of 10.

In fact if you are doing the plex's with corpmates it could probably tank higher ones due to small sig, good speed and resists while others just fit for dps. Just don't get webbed in higher rated ones. Muninn would be kickass for sansha/blood plex's.
Hitesugo	Posted - 2009.02.06 11:01:00 - [9] Cool deal, I will deffinatly try out the munin, got any setup you could recomend for talking Therm and Kinetic? plus one for EM damage if there is any bigger difference. the smaller ships I don't think could handle itself as well as a Munin, but as I said I never tried just having a hard time seeing a frig size ship handle anything when it comes to talking, any other ships worth looking into?

It takes hardly any time training since i allready had missile and shield tanking skills trained as part of the minmatar skillset and also the battlecruiser skill is multi race. You Dont even need any capacitor skills for the passive drake which i fly as a tank most of the time. Plus a raven is handy to use for ratting since it still is the best t1 ratter even after the missile nerfs. I kill off spawns a hell of a lot faster then using any of the minny battleships (which suck for pve imo)

I kill off spawns a hell of a lot faster then using any of the minny battleships (which suck for pve imo) True, I do have access to the Cal BC as i got Cal as my 2ndary race, but i only go 1 milion in missiles and 8 milion SP in gunnery, BC is at 4, cal cruiser is at 4, minm BS is at 5, still I havent gotten the Cal BS yet, even though it could be trained quite fast. The Vagabond, I tried that one in one plex already it was a plex named Independance, witch must have been bugged or something as i only got 1 wave of enemys, all frig size, does anyone have a link to how to check up the different plexes and what lvl the plexes are, as the name Independance means nothing to me. With T2 heavies and T2 sentries I do enough damage for almost everything and can change damage types, resists are great for everything except for Angels, space to fit cloak/salvager/tractor/small RR for drones/probe, lots of mids for permarunning tank and an AB, huge dronebay and no ammo usage...etc.

If you activate the gate to the next room you will meet some though battleship drones with several cruisers and frigs. Watch out tho, the "t2" frig drones are rather hard to kill and can scramble you. One battleship salvaged into t2 rig stuff. I did this in a raven, stumbled across this realy, so used the wrong dmg type so had to warp out once on the last spawn since i screwed up the pulling Nice salvage loot, but nothing else of intrest tbh. For other plexes my raven would fail badly.. but guessing my alt in an Obelisk would help Edit: Grammar fix..
