Hello, I am new to Manufacturing. I know the basics of how it works, how the BPO's work and the mechanics etc. Only thing I'm not sure is how the Corps and POS interaction effects manufacturing.
Does joining a corp that has a certain standing help you in your manufacturing?
I also seen a few people mentioning that if I'm serious I'm going to need to get a POS - is this true and could anyone provide a link with any more information on this?
Finally, whether the Corp standings effect it or not - are there any Corps or anything out there for manufacturers that I should look in to?

IMO the only reason you would ever want a POS in high sec is if you're in the blue print market. Everything else can be done better in an NPC station. --------------------

Standings come in when setting up sell orders - to get the lowest possible brokerage fees you want broker relations to 5, and high corp AND faction standings for the stations you sell out of.
Faction is key - for example, one of my sell hubs is in Derelik - Ammatar Fleet.
I have Broker Relations to V Ammatar Fleet to 8.0 But my Ammatar standings are -2.1
My Broker Fees are at 0.79% of Order Worth. It's a significant chunk that I'm working on lowering. |

Yeah faction standings play a huge role in broker fees (not that you don't know this). What sucks is you can't really have all factions liking you at the same time. ... Well it would be really difficult, if possible? --------------------

More work but not impossible - work with multiple agents and turn down missions having you kill the 4 factions ships and concentrate on pirates. You will still get derivied positives and negatives I like cats, especially with General Tso's sauce http://www.skamarakas.com/jim
Got a question about EVE Online, ask. If I know the answer, I will tell |

Devs keep hinting they'll be turning Interbus storylines back on - while they won't get all your factions high, most no more than +2.0 - they will make it easy to keep all your empire factions positive. _______________ <Q> QUANT Hegemony Item Database

This, and even so, mostly material research/copying. |
