Why should anybody get punished? My corp lost lots of isks a while ago thanks to some BoB pets... and we just accepted that as normal Eve gameplay.
Now it happens to BoB... different magnitude only. CCP should be fair on this and show no favoritism, as many corporations had suffered from this and had to accept it as part of the game.
Rules could change towards the future, but not about the past...
BoB just had its own karma. |

Why should GS be punished for this? As far as I've read, it was a legit corp attack, same thing that GHSC pulled off so long ago. That was epic, this is almost as epic in a different vein.

Posting in yet another thread by someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Goons didn't do anything in violation of the rules as far as anyone knows. Corporate/Alliance takeovers are hardly a new thing.
I'm a BoB supporter too but I mean the game is much bigger than the biggest alliance, so I ain't complaining.

Funny thing is that the Goons did not do this to bob. A judas in bobs moast trusted ranks did it and picked the Goons as the one to give it to. He could just as easily given it to any corp that had an axe to grind with bob however I applaude his eventual choice just for the epic irony of it all.  |

This is so amusing. The small minority of people with no life outside of Eve think that Meta-gaming is the real game....
What happens when the average player (You know the ones who actually like to play the game for fun, and don't spend 24/7 trying to think of ways to screw over the enemy without actually fighting him.) which makes up a majority of the population, as well as a majority of the paying customers, gets fed up with the script kiddies? How will you play the game when you can't buy a GTC with ISK?

I wouldnĘt worry about it corp espionage is the way to go today if you havenĘt herd rofl =) I will say as third party ccp couldnĘt look dumber for creating a game thatĘs best tactic is alt spies go team stupid ccp you are close to the darwin right up there with that guy that lit his croch on fire. I wouldnĘt be surprised if bob now gets angry and squishes the newb army from eve.
I will say it shows anyone new to the game how lame it really is in the end. Seeing this move and that the most powerful alliance in the game resorted to this I really am losing almost all interest in this bull**** ccp calls a game. I am not in ether alliance however this isnĘt what the game is about no matter how hard ccp tries to lie though its crooked yellow teeth. No worries let all make corp alts and disband all the major alliances....
Man your going to have to put bulletproof glass between the bobs and goons at fan fairs thatĘs not cool. I see them prison shanking each other in the parking lot before the fair man all over game...CCP you are the DEVIL congrats look what you did =)

why you wanna disband goons for a thing that BOB probably have done if they had the oportunity,it just the fate of all big empires to fall .now since red alliance and goons lost there big opponent i think they soon gonna turn on each other ,evryone need an enemy.
