Im waiting for pirates of burning sea, look awesomer and is similare to eve but on water and a fresh dev team that ont catch nerf bug for atleast 6 months.
O and middle earth online, yes its elves and all but it looks far better than the norm and its the original elves, orcs and all that story.
And its bound to have far better event that eve.

I checked in on Battlecruiser Online a while ago, and the release info said this: "Estimated release date : Its READY when its ready, and right now it ain't ready!" Made me wonder if 3000AD have embraced CCP's development strategy... 
But I think EVE all the MMO space entertainment I need atm. For other fairy-free types I would like to see a good cyber inspired world, something like the Deus Ex setting.

Pirates of the burning sea looks awesome! Man, Im a huge fan of pirate games, like Sea Dogs etc, this one looks too good to be true. Oh baby, Im gonna keep a close eye on this one for sure!

Planetside atleast they will fight u there.
i cant wait to get back to planetside but my comp wont hack the exreamly large lag monster they keep there.

You guys heard of Time of Defiance? its basically thousands of small islands dotted around space, which you can colonise. Its MMORTS apparently.

Its is an amazing game to play... very addictive, it would take a ship literally 2 weeks to travel across the game map, but it would run out of fuel long before then. Ships also take a long time to build, to make sure the game ist too fast paced. There is a 14 day free trial avaliable, try it

Twitch-based dog-fighting, real-world physics, and a bunch of fighters that were so close in ability that you had to actually fly them to get a feel for the differences.
They kept planning on capital ships, fleet battles, etc, but EVE came out before I got a chance to see any of it... small dev team, but the graphics were pretty cool. Big space stations carved out of asteroids that you could fly into, they were a labarynth inside, you could ambush people and take off out of secret exits, etc.
This thread reminded me, I think I still have the client on my PC somewhere, gotta see if the servers are still up...

i emailed them last month (i'm not into fantasy games but have been a tolkein fanatic for 30 years so i was interested)
- you can only be a hobbit/man/elf/dwarf
- the game is co-operative only
- no pvp of any description
ie: it will blow |

Ok elves and trolls and swords Im so fed up on that sort mmorpgs.
(and ofc riding a horse + house)
More space mmorpgs for us all.
I do miss the ability to have a body in EVE so I can walk around in the stations
or maybe a walk inside my nice BS 
in some sort of a way get a ability to have a apartment in a station or planet
with the ability to furnice it
and ofc have the ability to use joystick in eve. 
and stop that it¦s not possible top/ and it would create lagg or something then you havent been in mmorpg that loong and your opinion dont have any value.
