All i keep hearing lately is people saying how great agent missions are and how they;re getting implants and cool loot from missions ...
I must be doing something wrong, ive been doing agent missions on and off for the last 2 months with the Gallente Federation Navy, i have a standing of 6.90, this is good isnt it? Ive never ever got an implant and found anything decent in the loot. Should i just give up? ATM it looks as if im just wasting my time and im starting to get annoyed.

You should never give up !
Implant missions are somewhat rare, but every time you get a mission called "Fight for the establishment" you have a chance to get an implant as primary reward.
As for loot from the pirats it is mostly low quality loot, but you can get good named modules like fx. 720mm Prototype I's and 25,08% cargo expanders. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Gotthard The Asgard Gotthard's Collections (Currently working on Tech2 Ships) |

I have been playing this game since shortly after release, and have got my first 2 implant missions this week....don't think of implants as a necessity to get, but they are a nice bonus when you do get them....and remember for all the people who post here saying "i got 37 implants last week" there are a heck of a lot more who have never got one or only got a few in their career...keep plugging at it... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dont give up
Always look on the bright side of life .....
I been around this game for a year. I have had 2 implants in one day and then none for a month. I admit I tend to work just one agent at a time (old fashioned I guess ).
But I also find that hard work pays off. Make sure your social standings are high. Get the social skills and make them earn more isk for you.
Live off the rewards/ the bounties and the bonuses.
Implants are the icing on the cake.

Don't give up m8!
I've been doing missions for Gallente Navy for months now, and yesterday I got my first implant from thim in about 4 months. And the day before my husband got a 25.08% expander from an Gallente friggate kill (the green one which I can't spell - exe......)
I must say I abandoned my agent for about 2 months and was running missions for a Cladari agent instead, maybe he got jealous? ____________________ Space is still the place... Se a montanha nao vai ate Maome, Maome vai ate a monthanha! |

The agent also might not give any implants till you reach an "excellent" standing with them.
That was something discussed way back when they were trying to "fix" the agents last time and not sure if it's implemented.
the statement was something like you must have an excellent standing or better with the agent in question and must be completing more missions than you are declining.
Not sure if that is an implementation/qualification or if it is agent/corp standing that has to be there.
They might not give at all. If you get to Superb(9.51) and still nothing........switch corps and the division that you run with and do it to superb again.

i have been doing missions for galente navy my self and have recieved one implant so far (level 2 agent quality -20).
i would sujest if your not geting them either its just plain luck or maby your refusing to many missions (i dont turn down any).
any way if you look up galente navy ingame and look at agent info it will show you the locations of all the galente navy agents you can use you may have better luck trying another agent.
just my 2 cents.

Do 20 missions for each level 3 agent you can get.. switch agent each time you get 1 implant... when you run out of agent... I then suggest you go mine and save up for a cruiser to use for some fun.. eg. in deep space... remember to insure! =) I've done missions for a year and don't like the recent rate of implant which is getting close to zero. So I will go mine for everything I want... Like a full set of implants I lost a long time ago... Trying to do agent missions to get implants is like winning in the lottery.. hopeless waste of time.

Although I continue to rant to my corp mates and the forums, I still haven't given up. I find this source of income rather steady and nice. The Loot i have received is decent as well. Not the best named loot, but it beats out Basic crap any day of the week. You just need to develop a routine system when doing agents. Make instant bookmarks from your station to all the stargates in the system.
Key is to make these missions fast, so you can see the fruit it grows. I too have not yet received an implant, I just don't care for it anymore. I just want the isk and the possible named loot now. I know in the end, the standing of your corp and faction will pay off when Shiva hits. If not, than watch me rant.

standing implementations will prolly create all kinds of greif in multi racial corps where people run missions troughout all races
check out the transactions on your corp for agent missions.
every mission anyone runs in a corp has a standing transaction. that standing affects corporate standings as well as race standings. most people only look at their personal standing transaction and disregard looking at corp standings.
check that out in your multiratial corps.
it is going to tear up the corp standings in ralation to multinational races corps
